  • Patent number: 11954836
Abstract: A method, electronic device and storage medium for processing an image using depth-of-field information is disclosed. The method includes obtaining a weight matrix and a weight image based on depth-of-field data of an input image; obtaining a first horizontal summed area table corresponding to the weight matrix and a second horizontal summed area table corresponding to the weight image by performing horizontal summing operation on the weight matrix and the weight image; obtaining a first weighted blurring image corresponding to the weight matrix based on the first horizontal summed area table, and obtaining a second weighted blurring image corresponding to the weight image based on the second horizontal summed area table; and obtaining a pixel value of the pixel in a target image based on the first and second weighted blurring images.

  • Publication number: 20230147400
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for providing an estimation of a vehicle geometry of a surrounding vehicle (40). In a first step of the method, an image (I) of at least a portion of the surrounding vehicle (40) is received, the portion comprising a license plate (42) affixed to the surrounding vehicle (40). Next, the license plate (42) is detected within the received image (I) and the alphanumeric identification code of the license plate (42) is extracted. Subsequently, a vehicle geometry parameter (P) being linked to the alphanumeric identification code is requested from a database (36) via a wireless data connection (38). Thereafter, the vehicle geometry parameter (P) is received from the database (36) via the wireless data connection (38), and the vehicle geometry is estimated based on the received vehicle geometry parameter (P). Moreover, a system (12) for providing an estimation of a vehicle geometry of the surrounding vehicle (40) and a vehicle (10) comprising such as system are described.

  • Patent number: 10513651
Abstract: A method for screening a candidate for efficacy as an asphaltene stabilizer comprises: forming a reconstituted oil by dispersing an asphaltene-containing solid in a hydrocarbon fluid; adding an asphaltene stabilizer candidate to the reconstituted oil to give an additized oil; and analyzing the stability of the asphaltenes in the additized oil. The method may be used to select a candidate for use as an asphaltene stabilizer during crude oil production, transportation or processing.
