Embodiments involve clustering traces of dialog conversation logs into sets, and search the traces for one or more contrastive temporal patterns between the sets.

Abstract: Computer-based method and system for urban planning of a facility are described herein. The method and system facilitate a user, without any hard knowledge of geographic information system (GIS) to perform quick geo-spatial analysis with a fully automated, single step, and single input process including automatically determining one or more criteria corresponding to the facility based on the facility type defined by the user, automatically performing data analysis on a plurality of data-sets, automatically determining and presenting at least one suitable site within the geographic area for the facility based on the data analysis.

Abstract: This disclosure includes systems and methods for providing purchase recommendations to a user that may include items frequently purchased with a product selected by the user. The determination of which items are frequently purchased with which other items may account for both online and in-store transactions and may further account for both pairwise and multi-wise relationships. The recommendations may be provided on an electronic user interface, such as a website, in response to the user's selection of the product through the electronic user interface. The recommendations may be tailored to the user's selected product so that the recommended items are available in the same delivery channel as the user-selected product.

The system determines if the price offer for the item is below an established threshold price, e.g., a price a retailer would accept for the item. Abstract: Image processing is performed on an input image generated from scanning a filled-in document form. The input image is evaluated against a blank version of various document forms in order to identify the form type of the filled-in document form. The evaluation results in identifying one of the blank document forms as a match to the filled-in document form. Each document form has a set of keywords. The evaluation uses a vector of keyword matches in the filled-in document form. Once a blank document form is identified to be match, the filled-in document form may be categorized according to that document form and/or data extracted from the filled-in document may be stored in association with keywords of that document form.

Abstract: A text recognition method and system involves computing a text matching score between an input text and an output candidate text. The text matching score is computed by evaluating respective N-grams of the input text and the output candidate text. The N-grams are compared in pairs for visual similarity by determining N-gram pair scores, which are used to compute the text matching score. The N-gram pair scores are determined using a set of probabilities of confusion between characters contained in the N-grams. The described approach can address inconsistent results that arise from conventional text similarity quantifiers.

In an example embodiment, steps or operations can be implemented for providing credentials associated with a user through Li-Fi wireless communications, detecting a light pattern associated with the Li-Fi Wireless communications with a light sensor attached to a field device, transmitting a signal from the light sensor to a controller, which decodes the credentials associated with the user, and if the credentials are authorized, allowing the user to obtain device data associated with the field device wherein said data includes a location of said field device within said industrial plant. Such data can be obtained from a control room and/or a server through a wireless data communications network (e.g., wireless bidirectional communications).
