  • Publication number: 20100305366
Abstract: A lutein extraction process comprises pulverizing marigold, adding organic solvent in the former, then placing into an ultrasonic extraction vessel for ultrasonic extraction, filtering the extracted solution, and recovering to obtain a filtrate containing lutein ester; adding an alkaline solution that is 2 times of the filtrate volume in the filtrate recovered in the above step, and performing saponification on the lutein ester in the filtrate at 50-70° C.; washing the resultant after saponification with deionized water until lutein crystallization occurs, centrifuging the solution containing the lutein crystals to obtain crude crystals of lutein; subjecting the crude crystals of lutein to recrystallization; washing the lutein crystals obtained by recrystallization, and drying to obtain lutein crystal product.

  • Publication number: 20100119651
Abstract: A bio-enzyme-assisted extraction method for inulin is disclosed. The method comprises extracting pretreated dry powder of Jerusalem artichoke using a hot water extraction method to obtain a crude extract of inulin, treating the obtained extract of inulin by decoloring, removing impurities, purifying with an ultrafiltration membrane, vacuum concentrating, and spray drying to obtain inulin. The dry powder of Jerusalem artichoke is soaked with a pH 4-5.5 HAc—NaAc buffer solution prior to hot water extraction, and cellulase and pectinase of 0.1-0.5% wt are added in the buffer solution during soaking. The mass ratio of cellulase and pectinase is 1:1-3:1, and the dry powder is soaked at 40° C.-55° C. for 0.5-1.5 hours. The present invention solves the disadvantages in prior art, such as low extraction rate, long extraction time, and high energy consumption during water bath extraction.

  • Publication number: 20090087569
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods for preparing highly stable HA. Preparation of the highly stable HA comprises the steps of: preparing HA or its salt solution; preparing a water solution of negative-charge-carrying coat material; preparing a solution of positive-charge-carrying coat material; HA or its salt: negative-charge-carrying coat material: positive-charge-carrying coat material that ranges 1:1:2˜1:4:8; preparing a water solution of Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose; embedding for the first time: mixing HA or hyaluronate salt, negative-charge-carrying coat material and positive-charge-carrying coat material with the above mentioned proportion; embedding for the second time: adding water solution of Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose to the above mixture at a mass proportion 1:1 obtaining a second embedded compound; drying and solidifying the compound obtained from the second embedding using a spray dry method.
