  • Publication number: 20240034320
Abstract: A driving assistance apparatus for a vehicle includes an environment information acquisitor, a vehicle position estimator, a target route setter, and a controller. The environment information acquisitor acquires environment information in front of the vehicle. The vehicle position estimator estimates a position of the vehicle on a road. The target route setter sets a target route of the vehicle. The controller causes the vehicle to travel along the target route. The controller includes an intersection determiner, a right-left turn determiner, a route generator, and an intervention controller. The intersection determiner determines whether an intersection is in front of the vehicle based on the environment information. The right-left turn determiner determines whether the vehicle turns right or left at the intersection. The route generator generates correct and erroneous routes.

  • Publication number: 20230311979
Abstract: A vehicle lane keep control apparatus includes a steering control processor. the steering control processor is configured to, upon detection of a skid of a vehicle during control, switch modes from a lane keeping mode to a slip-handling mode, perform a steering control to allow the vehicle to have a stable attitude, and restart the lane keeping mode.

  • Publication number: 20230227055
Abstract: A vehicle driving support apparatus includes a forward environment recognizing device configured to recognize a traveling environment forward of a vehicle, a control device configured to perform adaptive cruise control and active lane keep centering control based on the recognized traveling environment, an electric power steering device configured to control a turning angle of wheels in a ganged manner in accordance with a steering angle received from a steering handle, and a driver monitoring system configured to detect changes in biological information of a driver who drives the vehicle. When the driver monitoring system detects a drop in alertness of the driver, the control device is configured to perform the adaptive cruise control and the active lane keep centering control and execute a steering handle idle mode that stops the electric power steering device from controlling the turning angle in the ganged manner in accordance with the steering angle.

  • Publication number: 20230227100
Abstract: A vehicle driving support apparatus includes a forward environment recognizing device configured to recognize a traveling environment forward of a vehicle, a control device configured to perform active lane keep centering control based on the traveling environment, an electric power steering device configured to apply an assist torque to control a turning angle of wheels in accordance with a steering angle received from a steering handle, and a driver monitoring system configured to detect biological information of a driver who drives the vehicle. During execution of the active lane keep centering control, the control device is configured to count the number of times a driver's line-of-sight direction in the biological information has deviated from a target route direction of the vehicle and if the counted number of times is greater than or equal to a predetermined threshold count, reduce the assist torque stepwise as the counted number of times increases.
