    Abstract: A torsional vibration damper that can be arranged in a fluid coupling to downsize a powertrain is provided. The torsional vibration damper has a mass body held in a rotary member in such a manner to be oscillated by torque pulse of the rotary member. The rotary member is arranged in an internal space of a fluid coupling in which a pump impeller, a turbine runner and a predetermined stationary member are held in a casing. A planetary unit that performs a differential action among three rotary elements is arranged in the casing. In the planetary unit, a first rotary element is connected to the stationary member, a second rotary element is connected to the rotary member, and a third rotary element is connected to the turbine runner.

    Abstract: An oxygen evolution catalyst includes a core and a shell covering the surface of the core. The core includes ruthenium oxide or metal ruthenium in at least a surface portion. The shell includes titania or a composite oxide of titanium and ruthenium. Such an oxygen evolution catalyst is obtained by (a) dispersing core particles each including ruthenium oxide or metal ruthenium in at least a surface portion in a solvent to obtain a dispersion, (b) adding a Ti source to the dispersion to produce precursor particles in which the surface of each core particle is covered with a titania precursor, and (c) collecting the precursor particles from the dispersion and heat-treating the precursor particles after drying.

The hydraulic system may include a source of pressurized fluid; a tank; a hydraulic actuator including a first chamber and a second chamber; a first independent metering valve disposed between and fluidly connected to the source, the tank, and the first chamber of the hydraulic actuator; and a second independent metering valve disposed between and fluidly connected to the source, the tank, and the second chamber of the hydraulic actuator. Each of the first independent metering valve and the second independent metering valve may include a spool and a valve actuator disposed on one side of the spool. The valve actuator may include a push coil, a pull coil, and a force feedback mechanism configured to balance a force of the push coil and the pull coil.
