Abstract: A method for generating a cell line for producing virus in suspension cell culture. The method comprises generating a plurality of cell clones growing in adherent cell culture, identifying a group of cell clones with high transfection efficiency, generating a plurality of cell clones growing in suspension cell culture and identifying a cell clone suitable for producing virus in suspension cell culture. The method disclosed herein the method can shorten the domestication time from at least 1 month to 7-14 days, and the amount of medium used during the domestication process can also be greatly reduced, reducing production costs.
