    Abstract: A liquid crystal panel and a driving method are disclosed. The method includes the following steps: receiving a picture information; analyzing and obtaining an original grayscale of each color of multiple pixel units; generating a first display grayscale and a second display grayscale according to the original grayscale of each color, wherein, a display brightness corresponding to the first display grayscale is greater than a display brightness corresponding to the second display grayscale; and using the first display grayscale and the second display grayscale of each color of the multiple pixel units to drive sub-pixel units which is corresponding to the each color in two adjacent pixel units corresponding to each pixel unit to respectively perform a dark display and a bright display. Through above way, the present invention can increase the transmittance of the liquid crystal panel.

    Abstract: A TFT substrate and a method for manufacturing the TFT substrate are provided. A TFT structure is formed on a substrate. A color resist layer is formed on the substrate, and a first opening area is formed in the color resist layer at a location corresponding to the TFT structure. A first black matrix is formed in the first opening area such that the TFT structure is covered by the first black matrix. A pixel electrode is formed on the color resist layer and the first black matrix and is electrically coupled to the TFT structure through the first black matrix. With such an arrangement, light can be shielded and light transmittance can be reduced when a panel including the TFT substrate is bent. This helps improve contrast of the panel.

The pixel electrode is electrically connected to the source electrode or the drain electrode via the second insulation layer. In this way, the masking effect of the display panel assembled by the TFT substrate can be ensured. In addition, the coupling capacitance between the data line and the scanning line may be reduced.

In addition, a corresponding liquid crystal device is disclosed. The above-mentioned method and device have good alignment results, and the color shift issue at wide viewing angle is enhanced.

The display device includes a blue light source and a display panel which includes a substrate having a color adjusting layer, a blue filter layer, and an inner polarizer disposed thereon. The color adjusting layer includes a plurality of color excitation units, wherein each color excitation unit contains a plurality of wavelength transformation materials. The blue filter layer allows only blue light to pass therethrough and absorbs other color light. The blue light passes through the inner polarizer and the blue filter layer to reach the color excitation units. The blue light further excites the wavelength transformation materials to generate different color light. A part of the different color light is transmitted to and absorbed by the blue filter layer.
