  • Patent number: 4008086
Abstract: An improved photographic system in which a new yellow coupler is employed. The yellow coupler has the formula, ##STR1## wherein X is a --N= or --CH= group; Cp is a residue formed by removing one hydrogen atom of the active methylene group of an acetanilide yellow coupler; n is an integer of 1 to 4; and R is a hydrogen or halogen atom, or an alkyl, alkoxy, alkylcarbonyl, aryl, arylcarbonyl, amino, acylamino, carboxyl, nitrile, aralkyl or aralkyloxy group, provided that in case n is 2 or more the R groups may be the same or different, and two adjacent R groups in combination may form a benzene ring.
