    Abstract: A closure drive mechanism and a surgical stapler are provided, including: a linkage assembly including a first pivot portion and a second pivot portion, where the first pivot portion is configured to be pivotally connected to the instrument body, and the second pivot portion is configured to be located on a proximal side of the first pivot portion; a movable handle including a first mating portion; a closure drive assembly configured to be pivotally connected to the second pivot portion of the linkage assembly. When the linkage assembly is in a first state and the movable handle rotates in a first direction, the first mating portion drives the linkage assembly to enter a second state, the second pivot portion of the linkage assembly moves proximally and drives the closure drive assembly to move proximally, so the stapler is closed.

The cartridge assembly includes: a cartridge including a cartridge surface provided with a plurality of staple cavities, staple mating portions provided on proximal sides of the staple cavities; a plurality of staples located in the staple cavities; an actuation member configured to drive the staples and the staple mating portions to rotate in a first direction when the actuation member moves from a proximal side toward a distal side of the cartridge. After each staple mating portion rotates, the second connecting portion of the corresponding staple is driven by the staple mating portion to move away from the cartridge and then separates from the staple cavity, so the staples can be more easily separated with the cartridge after being closed.

The introducer provided by the present disclosure has the advantages that: as the maximum outer diameter of the introducer is approximately equal to the maximum outer diameter of the staple cartridge assembly, the process of introducing can be achieved without bad influence resulting from increasing the outer diameter of the circular stapler.

And the introducing portion comprises a spiral member in a conical shape with a cavity and a traction member, the traction member extends in the cavity of spiral member to connect with the distal end of the spiral member such that when the traction member is pulled by an external force, the distal end of the spiral member is pulled out by the traction member through the cavity which causes the spiral member to be unwound internally and finally to form a strip body to withdraw through the circular stapler.
