  • Publication number: 20090093359
Abstract: A fiber fabric having a VOC removing function according to the present invention has a hydrophobic inorganic porous substance and a photocatalyst adhered to at least a part of the fiber fabric with binder resin. With this, not only formaldehyde and acetaldehyde but also VOCs having an aromatic ring such as toluene and xylene can be adequately decomposed, which prevents cross-contamination by intermediate products formed during the decomposition.

  • Patent number: 7306660
Abstract: A cationized supporting material 2 is immersed into a treatment solution containing a level dyeing agent, and then immersed into a treatment solution containing a metal phthalocyanine complex and then dried to thereby obtain an odor eliminating material 1. Alternatively, a cationized supporting material 2 is immersed into a treatment solution containing a metal phthalocyanine complex and a migration inhibitor and then dried to thereby obtain an odor eliminating material 1. The odor eliminating material exerts excellent odor elimination performance against ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, methyl mercaptan, acetic acid and acetaldehyde.

  • Publication number: 20070190287
Abstract: A carpet has piles 2 provided on an upper surface of a base fabric 3 and a backing layer 4 formed on a lower surface of the base fabric 3. An allergen reducing agent 10 is made to adhere to at least a part of an area X ranging from the upper surface of the base fabric 3 to a foot portion of the pile. With this structure, allergens, such as, e.g., mites, dead mites, or pollen, especially entered in the carpet, can be efficiently inactivated and the amount of allergens in the carpet can be reduced.

  • Patent number: 6335075
Abstract: A carpet carrying a deodorant that is resistant to washing and wear and thus capable of maintaining its deodorizing function for a long time without impairing the drape and tint of the carpet. The carpet has a backing layer and a fiber layer formed on one side of the backing layer. A deodorant is carried partially on the backing layer and partially on the fiber layer with the weight ratio of the deodorant carried on the fiber layer to the deodorant carried on the backing being 50:50 to 5:95.
