    Abstract: Provided are flexible heater excellent in heat resistance and in terminal strength, and a method for manufacturing same. A flexible heater 2 includes: a based member 10; a heating element circuit 12 formed on the base member 10; a heating element circuit cover member 14 which covers the heating element circuit 12; and a pair of lead wires 17 and 17 connected to a pair of connection end portions 12a and 12a of heating element circuit 12. The heating element circuit cover member 14 has opened portions 14a and 14a for not covering connection end portions 12a and 12a and their surroundings. The connection end portions 12a and 12a and their surroundings, and portions of the lead wires 17 and 17 above the base member 10 are covered through a heat-resistant adhesive 20 with an end portion cover member 22 provided separately from heating element circuit cover member 14.

    Abstract: In a bored headrest, a garnish includes a front garnish and a rear garnish that are attached to a through-hole of a skin member in front and rear directions of the through-hole to seal an opening. The front garnish has a first holding portion that can hold a first skin edge portion, and a first connecting portion formed at a near side to the rear garnish. The rear garnish has a second holding portion which can hold a second skin edge portion, and a second connecting portion formed at a near side to the front garnish. The rear garnish has a second connecting portion. Therefore, a bored headrest is provided having a high quality of appearance and whose quality of appearance can be kept constant.

    Abstract: In a method of manufacturing a seat by using adhesives in which an air permeable skin material and a cushioning pad are bonded to each other by means of reactive hot-melt adhesives, the method comprises a step of coating adhesives to the cushioning pad, a step of provisionally assembling the skin material to the cushioning pad from the side of the adhesive coating surface, a step of setting the provisionally assembled cushioning pad and skin material to an attaching die, a step of applying heating by a heating die to the skin material and the cushioning pad attached in the attaching die assembling step from the side of the skin material and a step of applying cooling under pressure by a cooling die from the surface of the skin material subsequent to the heating step. A seat comprising a skin material and a cushioning pad can be molded with a seat frame by this method.
