  • Publication number: 20240116914
Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to provide a compound for a capping layer that has a high refractive index and a low extinction coefficient in a range of 450 nm to 750 nm to improve the light extraction efficiency of an organic EL element. The present invention has focused on the fact that compounds having a benzene skeleton at the center thereof are excellent in stability and also durability in the form of a thin film, and that the refractive index thereof can be improved by modifying the molecular structure, and thus, molecules have been designed. Provided is a compound represented by a general formula (1), and an organic EL element with excellent luminance efficiency is obtained by using that compound as a constituent material of a capping layer.

  • Patent number: 6952891
Abstract: A boot liner is configured to adequately obtain a desired sensation of an upper part fitting around the ankle. The boot liner has a sole, an upper part, and a fastening mechanism. The fastening mechanism has a main strap having a first fixed strap part, a pair of movable strap parts, and a second fixed strap part. The movable strap parts extend forwardly from the ends of the first fixed strap part along the side surfaces of the upper part, and are folded back such that an insertion element through which a shoelace can be inserted is formed in the vicinity of the front ends of the upper part, and the distal ends extend through the rear portion to the side surfaces on the opposite sides of the upper part. The movable strap parts intersect each other at the rear portion and can move in relation to the upper part.

  • Patent number: 6729047
Abstract: A sport shoe has a sole portion and an upper portion fixedly coupled to the sole portion. The upper portion has an inner side section, a center foot section and an outer side section. The first strap member has a first attachment portion coupled to one of the inner and outer side sections and a first pad connecting portion. The pad member has a first end portion, a center portion and a second end portion with the first pad connecting portion of the first strap member being fixedly coupled to the pad member by a fastening member. The adjustable strap buckle fixedly coupled to the first pad connecting portion of the first strap member by the fastening member. The second strap member has a second attachment portion coupled to the other of the inner and outer side sections and a second pad connecting portion that is adjustably coupled to the first strap member by the adjustable strap buckle.

  • Publication number: 20030154627
Abstract: A boot liner basically includes a sole portion, an upper portion and a tightening device. A tongue part is preferably mounted in a slit formed in the upper portion. The upper portion has a thermoformable layer with first and second non-thermoformable members located on an inner side and an outer side of the ankle section. The first and second non-thermoformable members are banana-shaped or L-shaped pads that are preferably formed of a polyurethane. The first and second non-thermoformable members are preferably located below and rearwardly the portions of the tibia and fibula that form the ankle of a foot corresponding to the size of the boot liner.
