  • Patent number: 8218054
Abstract: An image display apparatus disclosed in the present application is made up of a detection precision calculating module, a detecting module, and an image providing module. The detection precision calculating module calculates a detection precision that satisfies a designated restrictive condition. Based on the calculated detection precision, the detecting module detects a projection of a designated object from each image based on the calculated detection precision, and calculates the number of projections of the designated object included in each image. The image providing module arranges the respective pieces of image information according to the number of detected projections of the object and provides a list of arranged images as a search result.

  • Patent number: 8013866
Abstract: An image display apparatus disclosed in the present application is made up of an analytical precision calculating module, an image analyzing module, and an image providing module. The analytical precision calculating module calculates an analytical precision of an image which satisfies a designated restrictive condition. The image analyzing module analyzes image information based on the calculated analytical precision. The image providing module accepts an image designation, calculates differences between an analysis result of image information of the designated image and image information of images other than the designated image, and provides a list of images arranged in an ascending order of differences thereof as a search result.

  • Patent number: 7975284
Abstract: An image capturing apparatus is configured so that optimal one of usable position detecting sensors is selected. Specifically, among a plurality of position detecting sensors usable by the image capturing apparatus, e.g., a GPS, a direction sensor, an acceleration sensor, and a velocity sensor, the GPS detects position information at a position where GPS signals can be received, whereas another of the sensors detects position information at a position where GPS signals cannot be received, in accordance with an environment where an image is captured. The position information detected by the optimal sensor is added to an image captured by a camera in a specified form and is displayed or stored.

  • Publication number: 20110150434
Abstract: In accordance with embodiments of the present disclosure, a process for controlling a pan camera is presented. The process may be implemented to record, by the pan camera, a first set of video clips corresponding to a plurality of scene areas, wherein each of the first set of video clips is generated by recording one of the plurality of scene areas according to a video capturing scheme. The process may, in response to a data request for a first video clip of a scene area selected from the plurality of scene areas, retrieve the first video clip from the previously recorded first set of video clips. The process may also adjust the video capturing scheme for a subsequent video recording.

  • Publication number: 20100234694
Abstract: Various types of health checks are realized using optimal sensors. The health check apparatus according to the present application is configured such that optimal sensors 160 corresponding to an environment or the like in which an information service is realized out of a plurality of available sensors 160 or sensors 160 available to realize a health check to be delivered are selected. The health check apparatus according to the present application selects appropriate parameters for the sensors 160 and processing programs 286, 300 and 310 so that a health check is appropriately delivered and sets the parameters in the sensors and processing programs. Thus, the health check apparatus according to the present application is configured to be able to deliver various health checks by only receiving specification of a desired information service by the user and thereby appropriately combining various types of sensors and a plurality of processing programs.
