  • Publication number: 20040120381
Abstract: Disclosed is a temperature correction method for a thermal analysis apparatus which measures electric current, voltage, and electric resistance of a measurement sample while changing the temperature of the measurement sample set between a pair of electrodes. The paired electrodes are connected by a reference substance, and a weight is set on the reference substance. The temperature at the time when the reference substance is fused and the weight falls cutting the reference substance is measured actually as melting point by a temperature sensor. Based on a difference between the actually measured value and a literature value of the melting point of the reference substance, the temperature measured by the temperature sensor is corrected.

  • Patent number: 6523915
Abstract: In the present invention, cord protruding portions at each of ends of a crawler body are divided into groups such that each group has a protruding length different from those of other groups. The entire cord protruding portions at one end of the crawler body when seen from a direction perpendicular to a belt surface are disposed so as to present a male configuration, and the entire cord protruding portions at the other end of the crawler body are disposed so as to present a female configuration. The lines each connecting ends of cord protruding portions at the ends of the crawler body can be disposed so as to form a configuration that is one of terraced, tiered, and crenellated when seen from a direction perpendicular to a belt surface. When seen from the direction perpendicular to the belt surface, an overlapping portion of steel cords includes two outlines separated from each other in a longitudinal direction of the belt, and each outline includes a bent line.

  • Publication number: 20020024349
Abstract: In a sample assembly for a thermoelectric analyzer, typically TSC (Thermally Stimulated Current) analyzer, a sample is fixed to an electrically-insulating substrate via an adhesive layer. The material of the adhesive layer is indium or gold-tin alloy. The indium has high thermal conductivity, resulting in good heat conduction between the sample and the substrate and therefore good temperature uniformity in the sample. Besides, the indium is soft metal, so that even when a stress occurs between the sample and the substrate because of the different rates of thermal expansion the indium can absorb the stress. The indium may be replaced by gold-tin alloy. The substrate has a pair of junction electrode layers formed thereon. The sample has a pair of electrode layers formed on the same plane of the sample.

  • Patent number: 5307171
Abstract: A video tape recorder/player capable of selectively recording a wide-band video signal including information for forming a picture of an aspect ratio a.sub.1, and a normal video signal for forming a picture of an aspect ratio a.sub.2. The video tape recorder/player comprises video signal discriminating means for discriminating between the reproduced wide video signal and the reproduced normal video signal reproduced from a magnetic recording medium, and time expansion means for expanding the time base of the reproduced video signal by a factor approximately equal to the ratio a.sub.1 /a.sub.2. Either the reproduced video signal or the output signal of the time expansion means obtained by expanding the time base of the reproduced signal by the time expansion means can be selected as an output signal when the video signal discriminating means detects the wide video signal.

  • Patent number: 5122885
Abstract: In a magnetic video recording/reproducing apparatus having a recording circuit for recording two kinds of video signals for different aspect ratios a.sub.1 and a.sub.2, where a.sub.1 >a.sub.2, a reproduced signal for aspect ratio a.sub.1 is subjected to a time-axis processing and then delivered to a monitor television having the aspect ratio a.sub.2 in order to avoid a picture on the monitor television from being so distorted as to be elongated vertically. During the time-axis processing, a Y/C interleave set-up processing and a time-axis variation correcting processing are also carried out as necessary. A reproduced signal for aspect ratio a.sub.2 is subjected to a time-axis processing and then delivered to a monitor television having the aspect ratio a.sub.1 in order to avoid a picture on the monitor television from being so distorted as to be elongated horizontally.
