  • Publication number: 20160380589
Abstract: When a ground fault detection device detects a ground fault of a photovoltaic string, for example, while a power conditioner is in operation, a great current may be flowing in a switching section from the photovoltaic string, so that components resistant to a great current have been used for the switching section. A ground fault detection device includes a stop determination unit configured to determine whether a power converter for converting electric power from a solar battery is in stoppage, and a ground fault detector configured to detect a ground fault of the solar battery in a state where the solar battery and the power converter are electrically disconnected from each other by a disconnection unit arranged between the solar battery and the power converter when the stop determination unit determines that the power converter is in stoppage.

  • Publication number: 20140327428
Abstract: The present invention relates to a detecting device and method, and a program which can detect a power state easily at low cost. A current transformer measures current of a commercial power system from a commercial power supply through a connection point of the commercial power system and a power generation system from a solar power generation system that supplies power having the same frequency as the commercial power supply. A current transformer measures power at the power generation system side through the connection point. A decision value calculator calculates a decision value based on a value obtained through multiplication of a measured value of current through the current transformer and through the current transformer. A flow detector detects a power flow of the commercial power system based on the calculated value. The present invention can be applied to a power measuring system for use in homes, for example.

  • Patent number: 8575522
Abstract: A hot-air supplying method that includes: generating, by means of a heat pump, hot air that is at a temperature lower than a desired target hot-air temperature; subsequently heating, by a heater, the hot air having been generated by the heat pump, while controlling the heater the temperature adjuster so as to adjust the temperature of hot air thus heated to the target hot-air temperature. This makes it possible to supply, with reduced energy loss and at low costs, hot air for processing a work, the hot air being necessary in a factory where processing and assembly or the like are carried out. Further, temperature control accuracy is enhanced.

  • Publication number: 20130241298
Abstract: The present invention relates to a voltage converter, a voltage converting method, a power adjuster, a power adjusting method, a photovoltaic system, and a management device which are capable of generating power with a higher output. In a photovoltaic system 11, each of the output converters 21-1 to 21-8, which converts a voltage of power generated by each of solar battery modules 22-1 to 22-8 to a voltage to be outputted to the outside, is provided with respect to each of the solar battery modules 22-1 to 22-8. In each of the output converters 21-1 to 21-8, an operation of a DC/DC converting part that executes a process for converting the voltage is switched to either conversion-rate fixing or maximum power point tracking control based on an amount of output power of the DC/DC converting part. The present invention is, for example, applicable to a photovoltaic system provided with an output converter with respect to each of solar battery modules.

  • Publication number: 20120191414
Abstract: In order to detect an operating state of equipment, when a plate material reaches a support part, a press machine outputs a start signal to move a press part downward. An input receiver receives input of the start signal. An operating detector detects that the press machine is in an operating state. When the press machine moves the press part upward, and shaping of the plate material ends, the press machine outputs a standby signal. The input receiver receives input of the standby signal. The detector detects that the press machine is in a standby state. When the plate material is again conveyed onto a roller conveyer from the support part, the press machine outputs a stop signal. The input receiver receives input of the stop signal. The detector detects that the press machine is in a stop state.

  • Patent number: 7283710
Abstract: Optical fiber guides are provided outside a waveguide mounting region of a supporting substrate. Optical fibers are provided so as to be fitted in the optical fibers, respectively. In addition, end faces of the optical fibers and end faces to which a core of an optical waveguide is exposed are opposed and almost parallel to each other. Furthermore, the end face to which the core of the optical waveguide is exposed is provided so as to form an acute angle with a surface of the supporting substrate. Thus, tip ends of the optical fibers are not likely to be shifted from the core in a thickness direction of an optical waveguide device.

  • Patent number: 5850045
Abstract: Wiring patterns 50, 60 are formed in zigzag fashion on respective ones of both sides of a flexible insulating sheet 70. The wiring patterns 50, 60 include linear portions 50C, 60C and arcuate portions 50A, 60A, respectively. The linear portions 50C and the linear portions 60C overlap. The arcuate portion 60A is situated between two arcuate portions 50A that neighbor each other. One end of each of the wiring patterns 50, 60 is connected to a detection circuit 75 which detects a change in inductance. The other ends of the wiring patterns 50, 60 are connected together through a through-hole 70A. The sheet 70 is disposed in such a manner that the linear portions 50C, 60C will perpendicularly intersect the direction of stress, which is to be measured, acting upon a member 80 undergoing measurement. The sheet 70 and the wiring patterns 50, 60 construct a detection coil 71. An AC excitation current flows through the detection coil 71.
