  • Patent number: 9798158
Abstract: An optical apparatus that is capable of improving impact resistance thereof. A holding member holding the optical element is movably attached to a first member so that the optical element is movable between an entering position where the optical element enters into an optical path and a retracted position where the optical element is retracted from the optical path. The first member is movably attached to a second member. A driving member engages with the holding member and drives the holding member. A regulation member regulates a moving amount of the first member with respect to the second member. The regulation member is arranged so that a distance from an engagement position of the holding member and the driving member at the entering position to the regulation member is longer than a distance from the engagement position at the retracted position to the regulation member.

  • Patent number: 9164361
Abstract: A lens barrel having a holder member that holds an imaging device package and allowing one or more structure members other than the holder member to be disposed around the package. The imaging device package in which an imaging device is housed is held by the holder member having planar portions that are disposed parallel to the package and that are coupled to each other through raised bent portions. The raised bent portions of the holder member are disposed so as to be overlapped with and inside the package as seen from an optical axis direction, thereby obtaining a free space around the package, in which one or more structural members other than the holder member can be disposed.

  • Patent number: 8442395
Abstract: A lens barrel which is capable of increasing the total length of the lens barrel in a shooting state even in a case where the collapsed lens barrel length is short, with a simple construction. A shooting optical system is disposed movably in an optical axis direction. A lens barrel driving member moves the shooting optical system in the optical axis direction while rotating around the optical axis. A lens barrel driving member moving unit moves the lens barrel driving member in the optical axis direction in a transition region during which the lens barrel moves between a shooting state and a non-shooting state while the driving member rotating.

  • Patent number: 8414203
Abstract: A barrier device in which excessive relative displacements of barrier blades in an optical axis direction are restricted to ensure a normal opening and closing operation of the barrier blades. The barrier device has second, first, and third barrier blades disposed in this order in the optical axis direction. Restriction portions of the first barrier blades have through portions extending from shielding portions in the optical axis direction and extending through elongated holes of the second barrier blades, and have extension portions extending parallel to the shielding portions from image-plane-side ends of the through portions and positioned on the image plane side of the second barrier blades. During the entire stroke of opening and closing of the barrier blades, the extension portions can be engaged with the shielding portions, whereby the second barrier blades are restricted from moving away from the first barrier blades.

  • Patent number: 8363336
Abstract: A lens barrel that is capable of miniaturizing an image pickup apparatus by decreasing an area that is occupied by transmission mechanisms. A lens group is movable along a first optical axis. A cam barrel moves the lens group. A first transmission mechanism transmits a driving force of a driving source to the cam barrel. A bending optical element is movable along a second optical axis that intersects the first optical axis. An element driver moves the bending optical element between a taking position and an escape position along the second optical axis. A second transmission mechanism transmits a driving force of a driving source to the element driver. The second transmission mechanism is arranged within an arrangement area of the first transmission mechanism when viewing in the direction of the first optical axis.
