  • Patent number: 10310358
Abstract: In the present invention, an edge face of an diaphragm ring (4) has a part (a locked portion) wherein a plurality of depressions (62) are formed and a substantially flat surface portion wherein no depression (62) is formed, and by a simple operation of operating a link releaser (52) so as to rotate the diaphragm ring (4), it is possible to switch between a click mode and a non-click mode. When taking still images, a diaphragm value can be fixed by using the click mode, and when video is taken, the diaphragm value can be smoothly changed during imaging by using the non-click mode.

  • Patent number: 7130127
Abstract: A terrestrial telescope with digital camera has an imaging optical system having a group of objective lenses and an imaging element disposed at a position at which an optical image is formed by the group of objective lenses. An observation optical system is provided for observing the optical image transmitted by the group of objective lenses. An optical element is inserted into the optical axis so as to be retractable from the optical axis during imaging. The optical element has a transmission surface having a single-eccentric toroidal configuration with different curvatures in vertical and horizontal planes of the optical element for correcting the position on the imaging element at which the optical image is formed so that the position on the imaging element at which the optical image is formed remains substantially unchanged regardless of whether the optical element is inserted into or retracted from the optical axis of the group of objective lenses.

  • Publication number: 20060203350
Abstract: An imaging element (3) is disposed behind a group of objective lenses (1), and a retractable quick-return half-mirror (2) is disposed as an optical-path splitting means in the direction of an observation optical system between the group of objective lenses and the imaging element. Plane glass (9) for correcting an change in image-formation position caused by retraction of the quick-return half-mirror is inserted into the optical path of the imaging optical system in association with the retraction of the quick-return mirror from the optical axis of the imaging optical system. The quick-return half-mirror and the plane glass are respectively held at both ends of a mirror guide lever (8) of one rigid member to effect respective retractions and insertions. The quick-return half-mirror may be provided with an inclined plane for correcting an image-formation positional deviation in the optical axis crossing direction.

  • Publication number: 20040233525
Abstract: A terrestrial telescope with a digital camera includes an objective lens group and a quick-return half-mirror located on the downstream side of the objective lens group. The quick-return half-mirror can be retractably inserted into the optical axis of the objective lens group. An image pickup device is provided downstream of the quick-return half-mirror, and there is an observation optical system for observing an image reflected by the quick-return half-mirror. The transmission surface of the quick-return half-mirror has a toroidal shape that corrects image-formation positional deviations caused by the insertion of the quick-return half-mirror.

  • Patent number: 6822802
Abstract: A terrestrial telescope with digital camera includes objective lenses, an imaging element located downstream of the objective lenses, a retractable optical-path splitter between the objective lenses and the imaging element, and an optical system for observing an optical image divided from the optical path of the imaging optical system by the optical-path splitter. An optical element is inserted into the optical axis of the imaging optical system to correct for any change in the image-formation position when the optical-path splitter is retracted from the optical path of the imaging optical system during imaging.

  • Publication number: 20040090672
Abstract: A terrestrial telescope with a digital camera has a TTL light-measurement system for controlling the exposure. For this the imaging element for taking pictures is used to determine exposure control data in response to the first shutter operation. The exposure control data thus determined is used as a basis for controlling the following sequential picture-taking/recording processing in a speed mode until it is cancelled. The camera is able to take pictures in a continuous sequence in which the interval between pictures is very short.
