  • Patent number: 8562548
Abstract: The present invention provides a rehabilitation device using a walking assistance device (1) having an actuator which generates and provides torque to a lower limb joint of a wearer wearing the walking assistance device (1), comprising a floor reaction force pattern storing unit (330) configured to store a reference floor reaction force pattern; a control target floor reaction force setting unit (340) for determining a control target floor reaction force based on the floor reaction force pattern stored in the floor reaction force pattern storing unit (330); a target torque calculating unit (350) for calculating a target torque of the actuator to achieve the control target floor reaction force determined by the control target floor reaction force setting unit (340); and an actuator output controller (150) for controlling output of the actuator such that the actuator generates a torque matching the target torque calculated by the target torque calculating unit (350); wherein the floor reaction force that the we

  • Publication number: 20110208558
Abstract: Creation of a bottle neck due to the presence of a worker under a particular heavy workload is fundamentally avoided, and the production efficiency of a work place where a plurality of workers jointly perform work is improved. The workload of each worker is numerically represented by using a worker load numerical processing unit (201), a workload deviation of each worker from a prescribed workload standard value is computed by using a workload deviation computing unit (203), and a work assistance device is allocated to each worker depending on the workload deviation of the worker by using a work assistance device allocation unit (204).

  • Publication number: 20050108920
Abstract: This invention provides a vapor heat apparatus for treating fruits by killing insects such as, for example, a Mediterranean fruit fly, an orange small fruit fly, a Queensland fruit fly and a melon fruit fly or the like. The invention prevents thermal troubles experienced by fruits undergoing treatment by allowing each of the fruits stored in each of the fruit storing means to reach a predetermined fruit central temperature at substantially the same time. The vapor supplying means and the heat exchanger means are controlled in reference to a sensed signal of the fruit temperature sensing means.

  • Patent number: 6102328
Abstract: A method to reduce the wave resistance of an airplane by disposing a fluid element such as an engine nacelle at a predetermined position on an upper surface of a main wing, positively superposing the air flow generated by the fluid element onto the air flow on the upper surface of the main wing, thereby establishing a gentle profile of pressure on the upper surface of the main wing, and retarding the generation of a shock wave. If the engine nacelle is disposed on the upper surface of the main wing, and the longitudinal position of the front end of the engine nacelle is set in a range of 63% to 100% from the front end of a wing chord of the main wing (see b and i in FIG. 9), a shock wave is generated on the upper surface of the main wing in the range of a transonic speed to inhibit an increase in wave resistance. Thus, the cruising speed can be increased, while avoiding an increase in amount of fuel consumed.
