  • Patent number: 9353830
Abstract: A link-plate chain for a continuously variable transmission, having a plurality of link plates interconnected in a chain circumferential direction and a chain transverse direction to be wound around an input pulley and an output pulley, by a plurality of rocker pins inserted to extend in the traverse direction through pin holes formed in the link plates, and attached with retainer pins for preventing detachment of the link plates from the rocker pins at ends in the transverse direction of the rocker pins, wherein: the retainer pins of the inside rocker pins sandwiched between the outer side rocker pins in the longitudinal direction among the rocker pins inserted through the link plates located at outermost ends in the transverse direction are configured to be attached more outward in the transverse direction than the retainer pins of the front and rear end side rocker pins.

  • Patent number: 9021851
Abstract: An oil hole penetrating through a partition wall of a pulley cover of a continuously variable transmission is formed in a direction perpendicular to an axis of the pulley cover. The pulley cover, having first and second hydraulic oil chambers through which a movable pulley half of a pulley of the continuously variable transmission is biased toward a fixed pulley half thereof, is manufactured in the step of machining a metal sheet. The manufacturing step includes a first step of press-forming the annular partition wall of the pulley cover, a second step of opening the oil hole in the partition wall, the oil hole allowing communication between the first and second hydraulic oil chambers, and a third step of press-forming the peripheral wall of the second hydraulic oil chamber at an outer side, in a radial direction, of the partition wall.

  • Patent number: 6763743
Abstract: A flywheel device for a prime mover can be made compact in axial size and has an effectively increased inertial mass. The flywheel device includes a drive plate and a mass ring. The drive plate has an annular projection and is attached to a crankshaft concentric with the crankshaft. The mass ring has an annular recess and is concentrically attached to the drive plate by the annular recess being fitted on the annular projection of the drive plate. The flywheel device transmits torque from an engine as the prime mover to the input shaft of an automatic transmission while reducing variation in the torque.

  • Patent number: 6655232
Abstract: A hydraulic controller comprises a first hydraulic control valve 60, which is mounted on an end face S1 of a first housing unit H1, an oil pump 50, which is mounted on the first hydraulic control valve 60, and an input shaft 1 of a transmission, which shaft is provided rotatably in a transmission housing. The oil pump 50 comprises an outer rotor 52 and an inner rotor 53 in a pump casing 51 and 54, which is mounted on the valve body of the first hydraulic control valve 60. The input shaft 1, which is inserted into the pump casing and fit into the inner rotor 53, rotates and drives the inner rotor. The oil pump 50 sucks oil from the bottom of the transmission housing and supplies it through the mounted part into the first hydraulic control valve 60.
