  • Patent number: 8094820
Abstract: [PROBLEM] To provide an information recording/reproducing apparatus, an information recording/reproducing method, an information recording/reproducing program and a record medium, secure contents are reproduced with a mobile device so that a check-out can be made on memory card of a small capacity thereby to prevent an authorized copy of the secure contents. [SOLVING MEANS] The information recording/reproducing apparatus creates a title key, encrypts the contents in accordance with a title key; stores the encrypted contents, stores navigation information on the reproduction of the contents containing the title key, encrypts the title key in accordance with the medium ID of an external medium, outputs the encrypted title key and an externally connecting method to the external medium, and transmits the encrypted contents stored, to the outside in case a request for the contents is received from the outside.

  • Publication number: 20040017757
Abstract: For audio data configured in units of frames with a header at the top and compressed in a way such that data corresponding to a specific frame is also present in a different frame, the present invention executes at least one of the following processing (1) and processing (2) at dividing this compressed audio into two pieces of audio data, i.e., front and rear pieces, at a predetermined position. (1) A step to divide the audio data into front and rear pieces, and a step to add data of a predetermined number of bytes at the beginning of the rear audio data to an end of the front audio data. (2) A step to divide the audio data into front and rear pieces, and a step to add data of a predetermined number bytes from an end of the front audio data to the front of the beginning of the rear audio data. This prevents the generation of abnormal noise even when data is compressed in a way, typically in MP3, such that location of a frame and location of data for that frame do not always match.

  • Patent number: 5937391
Abstract: A service system in an online shopping mall established through a network realizes an improvement of a service to a customer by not having to carry a magnetic card and shortening a time from issuing points to redeeming points. To attain the objects of the system, a points issuing unit issues points corresponding to the purchase amount of a customer. A points storage device stores the number of points accumulated by the customer. A points redeeming unit reduces a purchase amount of the customer as points to be redeemed. A points issue ratio and a points redeeming ratio can be set for each shop forming part of the online shopping mall.

  • Patent number: 4688441
Abstract: A gear assembly comprising two gears and a spring in the form of a C-shaped clip interconnecting the two gears. Two pins are provided on one of the two gears and the spring has two holes, one in each end thereof, whereby the spring can be carried by one gear in a prestressed state by means of the pin-and-hole connection. The other gear has a third pin thereon. The spring has a third hole into which the third pin is inserted. Thus the assembly work can be accomplished simply by resting the second gear on the first gear. An end of the third hole engages with the third pin to create a spring force necessary to provide nonbacklash mating with a third gear.

  • Patent number: 4644914
Abstract: A hydraulic valve lifter is held in the recess of the rocker arm swingably pivoted to the rocker shaft. An oil pressure chamber is formed between the lifter body and the plunger. An oil chamber to supply the oil to the oil pressure chamber is formed between the plunger and the recess. An oil supply path to supply the oil through the oil path of the rocker shaft communicates to the oil chamber. A return path is provided extending from the top of the oil chamber to a clearance between the inside of the rocker arm hole and the outside of the rocker shaft or to a clearance between the outside of the lifter body and the inside of the rocker arm recess. With this arrangement of the device, the air infiltrating the oil chamber can be discharged from the top of the oil chamber via the return path and the clearance, thereby preventing invasion of the air into the oil pressure chamber and ensuring normal functioning of the hydraulic valve lifter.
