Patent number: 7677732Abstract: The present invention provides a stereoscopic image display apparatus. The stereoscopic image display apparatus includes a first projection element group, a second projection element group, and a reflecting optical system. The first projection element group includes a plurality of first projection elements operable to project first light fluxes in a first direction. The second projection element group includes a plurality of second projection elements operable to project second light fluxes in a second direction which is different from the first direction and in which the second light fluxes are directed to the first light fluxes. The reflecting optical system is operable to reflect the second light fluxes toward the first direction.Type: GrantFiled: July 12, 2006Date of Patent: March 16, 2010Assignee: Sony CorporationInventors: Shuji Moro, Toshitaka Kawashima, Ryota Odake, Tadashi Morimoto

Patent number: 7508467Abstract: A backlight device includes a light source (21) arranged in a casing (23) opened in a light radiating surface (20a), so that the light source faces the light radiating surface (20a) and radiates light towards the light radiating surface (20a), a light transmitting reflecting plate (25) arranged in the casing for delimiting a space inclusive of the light source (21) and adapted for transmitting a fraction of the incident light and for reflecting another fraction of the incident light, and a light transmitting diffusing plate (41) arranged on the light radiating surface (20a) of the casing (23) for diffusing the light transmitted through the light transmitting reflecting plate (25) and for causing surface light radiation. A light reflecting surface (24) is formed on the inner surface of the casing (23).Type: GrantFiled: June 10, 2005Date of Patent: March 24, 2009Assignee: Sony CorporationInventors: Ryota Odake, Toshitaka Kawashima, Shuji Moro, Hiroyuki Okita

Patent number: 5602681Abstract: A linear feeding system comprises a DC motor with brush, a lead screw integrally arranged as the rotational shaft of the DC motor, and a nut member screwed on the lead screw. This linear feeding system further comprises a magnet installed on the rotational shaft of the DC motor, which is provided with a plurality of N-pole and S-pole magnets being magnetized alternately in the circumferential direction, and a magnetoresistive effect sensor fixedly arranged to face this magnet. With this structure, it is possible to provide a simply structured, small linear feeding system capable of performing a high precision high-speed feeding operation at low costs.Type: GrantFiled: April 7, 1995Date of Patent: February 11, 1997Assignee: Sony CorporationInventors: Akihito Nakayama, Satoshi Sakamoto, Eiji Ohshima, Kazuhiro Tanaka, Shuji Moro

Patent number: 5564157Abstract: A vehicle wiper blade assembly has a cover for covering blade support members, which support a wiper blade at different points therealong, and for covering portions of the wiper blade. A blade spoiler can be adjustably attached either to a primary lever, which connects the support members with the cover to a wiper arm, or to the wiper arm. The spoiler presses the wiper blade against the windshield when the vehicle is moving, improving the wiping efficiency. The lower edge of the spoiler is positioned nearer to the windshield than to the to the bottom of the cover to improve air and debris (such as snow) flow. The support members are also pivotally coupled to both ends of the primary lever to improve the wiper blade efficiency.Type: GrantFiled: March 14, 1994Date of Patent: October 15, 1996Assignee: Ichikoh Industries, Ltd.Inventors: Tadao Kushida, Shuji Moro, Takashi Kuzuno, Yoshitaka Kaneko, Yuji Yagi, Chihiro Ueki, Akira Kadokura

Patent number: 4548483Abstract: A door mirror device for automobiles, wherein a mirror housing supporting a mirror is urgingly held by a coil spring to a mirror base fixed to a vehicle body. Their respective end portions which are held are provided with marginal portions which are closely attached to each other throughout their respective entire areas. On the inside of the respective marginal portions of the mirror housing and the mirror base, a plurality of projections extend into each other's inside portion in staggered fashion one above the other, so that when the mirror housing is tilted, the respective opposing projections are engaged with each other to prevent any vertical displacement of the mirror housing, and that when an applied external force is removed, the mirror housing returns to its initial position without a fail.Type: GrantFiled: July 14, 1983Date of Patent: October 22, 1985Assignees: Ichikoh Industries Limited, Honda Motor Co., Ltd.Inventors: Shuji Moro, Michio Tenmaya
