  • Patent number: 7727672
Abstract: A metal plate and an electrode in a polymer lithium ion secondary battery or the like are welded certainly, and it is accomplished to further improve the reliability and the durability thereof. Each of an upper metal plate (7a) and a lower metal plate (9a) on the positive pole/terminal is welded to a pole/terminal of positive electrode (3) so that the pole/terminal of positive electrode (3) may be sandwiched from each of the upper and lower sides. Moreover, each of an upper metal plate (7b) and a lower metal plate (9b) on the negative pole/terminal is welded to a pole/terminal of negative electrode (5) so that the pole/terminal of negative electrode (5) may be sandwiched from each of the upper and lower sides. This eliminates occurrence of poor welding in the electric resistance welding.

  • Publication number: 20090104521
Abstract: A storage battery which can further intensify the sealing properties of the electrode rod piercing portion thereof, a technique capable of increasing the area of the sealing surface at the sealed portion of the storage battery, a technique capable of certainly preventing the missing of mounting of a rubber-based sealing material corresponding to O-ring at the sealed portion of the storage battery, and an insulating material having an excellent corrosion resistance to highly corrosive battery content and a battery container including same are provided. An electrode rod 14 is allowed to extend upward through an annular member 15, a pressing member 18 is placed on the annular member 15, and a nut 22 is then threaded on a thread portion 21. This threading job is effected until the pressing member 18 is placed on and stopped by a collar portion 23. At the time when threading ends, a neck portion 25 is somewhat compressed to exhibit sealing properties.

  • Publication number: 20020087484
Abstract: A settlement processing method and settlement processing system which provide an electronic settlement service by transfer of information through a communications network in an area outside a ground network where ground waves do not reach and where installation of a telephone line would be difficult. In an area which ground waves do not reach such as a mountain lodge, a satellite packet communications mobile unit able to transfer information with the outside at a communications speed of 9600 bps is connected with a credit card reader terminal by an RS-232C specification connection terminal through a PC card. The card reader terminal communicates with the mobile packet communications network through the satellite packet communications mobile unit and packet communications satellite and establishes connection with the card settlement center through a dedicated line.

  • Patent number: 5878323
Abstract: A plurality of blanks divided at a division end face 5 or a blank-bonded product comprising a plurality of blanks sintered and bonded together are or is compressed in the same mold, so that they are plastically deformed until the division end faces 5 are cohered. Thereafter, a load is applied to the plastically worked product in a direction of breaking of the division end faces 5 to break the division end faces 5 and divide the plastically worked product into a plurality of members. In this manner, a split type mechanical part having irregularities meshed with each other on mating faces and easily positionable relative to each other can be produced with a good dimentional accuracy.
