    Abstract: A fuel cell system includes a controller for controlling an oxygen-containing gas supply device and a fuel gas supply device. The controller causes a fuel cell stack to perform specific power generation for a first predetermined time for increasing water in the fuel cell stack after stopping normal operation of the fuel cell system, and thereafter supplies an oxygen-containing gas to the fuel cell stack for a second predetermined time to reduce water inside the fuel cell stack.
