  • Patent number: 4631379
Abstract: A microwave range has an inner case defining a heating chamber therein. A rotatable tray made of a material permeable to electric waves is disposed in the heating chamber and adapted to receive thereon an object to be heated. A torque transmitting mechanism for transmitting torque to the tray is disposed between the tray and a bottom of the heating chamber. The mechanism has a roller holder having wave agitating sections for reflecting waves irradiated into the heating chamber to agitate the waves. A plurality of rollers are rotatably supported on the holder and roll on the bottom of the heating chamber. The tray is placed on the rollers. The roller holder is rotated by a motor.

  • Patent number: 4549054
Abstract: An oven structure having an outer case and an inner case disposed within the outer case, both cases being substantially box-like in shape. The inner case positioned at a prescribed distance from an inner surface of the outer case, and defines a heating chamber for receiving foodstuffs to be cooked. A heat shielding plate is disposed inside of the outer case and oriented so as to oppose to a rear plate of the inner case with a prescribed interval therebetween. The shielding plate divides the space between the inner and outer cases into a first receiving chamber located at the side of a rear wall of the outer case and a second receiving chamber located at the side of the inner case. Heating elements are provided in the heating chamber. Each heating element has a heat generating portion located with in the heating chamber, and a pair of connecting portions attached to the rear plate. Each connecting portion extends into the first receiving chamber through the rear plate and shielding plate.

  • Patent number: 4506128
Abstract: A microwave oven having an oven cabinet is provided with a heating chamber formed in the cabinet such that microwave heating and ordinary electrically resistive heating can be carried out. An oven door is pivotably mounted on the front side of the heating chamber and an inclined control panel is disposed below the oven door such that the panel inclines downwardly and projects forwardly from the front side of the cabinet to define an encasing portion for at least a part of electric components of the microwave oven underneath the heating chamber.

  • Patent number: 4497993
Abstract: A door lock apparatus of an electric cooker has a handle movably supported by a door which is mounted on a housing of the cooker and capable of moving to open/close an opening. Two hooks are pivotally mounted on the inner face of the door. Each hook is disposed engageable with the housing for locking the door in a closed position, thereby closing the opening and a switch for controlling an oscillation of a magnetron. The hooks are biased by biasing member to a position at which the hooks engage with the housing. Pushers are supported by the door to be movable along the axis thereof, respectively. Each pusher has two ends and abuts against the handle at one end and against the hook at the other end. When the handle is moved, each pusher pivots the hook to release engagement between the hook and the housing. Each hook has an arcuated action surface which abuts against the other end of the pusher.
