    Abstract: A method and a device for transmitting enhanced transmission selection (ETS) standard configuration information. The receiving method includes: receiving LLDP packets, wherein, the LLDP packets are in an ETS recommended TLV format; analyzing a first field in the LLDP packets, and determining whether the value of each byte in the first field is in a preset range or not; analyzing the value of a first segment of bits of each byte in the first field when determining that the value of each byte in the first field is in the preset range, and determining a scheduling algorithm used by internal priorities of a traffic class corresponding to each byte in the first field according to the values of the first segment of bits; and analyzing value of a second segment of bits of each byte in the first field, and determining an additional parameter corresponding to the priority.
