  • Patent number: 11394270
Abstract: A gear assembly is provided that simplifies the integration of a differential assembly into the hollow rotor of an electric motor. The gear assembly utilizes a hollow cross member that includes a central portion and a plurality of hollow extension members onto which the gears are mounted. Within each of the hollow extension members is a pin. When the pins are withdrawn, the assembly fits unimpeded within the hollow rotor. When the pins are partially extended out of the corresponding extension members, the ends of the pins fit within apertures in the rotor. A plug fits within a centrally located thru-hole in the central portion of the hollow cross member, thereby locking the pins in the extended position and locking the gear assembly in place.

  • Patent number: 9002142
Abstract: A method is to be implemented by an electronic apparatus having a map database established therein, and includes the steps of: receiving a user-specified input image of an area of interest, and obtaining from the map database a reference map that encompasses the area of interest; selecting a set of feature points in the user-specified input image, and a set of map points in the reference map that correspond in geographical features to the feature points; transforming the user-specified input image according to positional differences between the feature points and the corresponding map points to thereby obtain a to-be-registered image having adjusted feature points corresponding in position to the map points; overlaying the to-be-registered image onto the reference map to thereby obtain a customized composite map image; and outputting the customized composite map image.

  • Patent number: 8504287
Abstract: An embodiment of the invention provides a navigation system. A global positioning device outputs location information. A map database provides map information according to the location information. An active area recorder determines a viewing-area, and sketches a first active area according to the viewing-area and a first moving track of a positioning pattern corresponding to the location information. An image processing unit receives the map information and the first moving track and generates display data displayed on a display device.

  • Publication number: 20120268601
Abstract: A method of recording traffic images is to be implemented in a drive recorder system. The method includes recording the traffic images at a first recording frame rate, generating a detection signal according to movement of the vehicle, searching a pre-stored table to acquire a vehicle driving condition matching with the detection signal, and recording the traffic images at a second recording frame rate when the acquired vehicle driving condition corresponds to an alert condition. The second recording frame rate is greater than the first recording frame rate.
