  • Publication number: 20070221770
Abstract: A spice grinding device includes a hollow body with an open top, and a cap is connected on the top of the hollow body. A grinding blade unit is received in the hollow body and a shaft with a polygonal cross section is connected to the grinding blade unit. A driving mechanism is securely connected to the shaft and a handle located on a side of the hollow body is connected to the driving mechanism. When rotating the handle, the shaft is rotated to operate the grinding blade unit to grind peppers in the hollow body. Because the handle is located at a side of the spice grinding device, the user's elbow does not expand outward.

  • Patent number: 7007875
Abstract: An electric pepper mill includes a base member with a chamber defined therein and a grind blade is supported in the chamber. A connection shaft extends from the grind blade. A main section has a motor received therein and an output shaft of the motor extends from one end of the main section so that the connection shaft is driven by the output shaft when the main section is connected to the base member. An activation button for activating the motor is connected to the motor. A casing is securely mounted to the main section and the activation button extends from a hole in a top of the casing. The grind blade is activated by pushing the button.

  • Patent number: 6962302
Abstract: A combination of a pepper mill and salt mill includes a mediate member having two recesses defined in two ends thereof and two connection members are rotatably engaged with the two recesses. Each recess has first notches defined in an inside thereof and each connection member has second notches which are located in alignment with the first notches so that beads are moveably received in the space and closed by the first notches and the second notches. Two mill members are respectively connected to the connection members. When the combination is put upright, the beads on the upper end of the mediate member are located at the joint surface of the upper mill member and the connection member, and the beads on the lower end of the mediate member are received in first notches such that only the mill member on the lower end can be rotated.

  • Patent number: 6443377
Abstract: A pepper mill includes a base with a fixed member connected therein and a grinder 26 rotatably received in the fixed member. An end collar is connected to a bottom of the base and serrated teeth defined in a top edge of the end collar. A disk is rotatably mounted to the end collar and has protrusions movably engaged with the serrated teeth. A top member is mounted to a top of the base and a bottle is connected to the top member. The top member has a shaft which securely engaged with the grinder and a spring is mounted to the shat and biased between the grinder and the top member. The gap between the fixed member and the grinder can be adjusted by rotating the end collar.
