  • Patent number: 7258375
Abstract: A telescopic chopstick including an upper section, a lower section and a press member. The upper section is a hollow rod formed with an upper opening and a lower opening. A locating section is formed on an inner side of the upper section. The lower section has an upper end and a lower end. The upper end has a peripheral length larger than a peripheral length of the lower end. The upper end of the lower section has a connecting section for engaging with the lower end of the upper section. The press member is fitted in the upper opening of the upper section and located by the locating section of the upper section. A leaf spring integrally extends from a bottom end of the press member. When the lower section is retracted into the upper section, the leaf spring resiliently abuts against and engages with a lateral wall of the connecting section of the lower section. The lower section can be easily taken out from the upper opening of the upper section for washing.

  • Patent number: 7093868
Abstract: A telescopic chopstick set including pair of chopsticks and a jacket for receiving the chopsticks. Each chopstick has an upper half and a lower half extendably nested in the upper half. An upper end of the upper half has an upper opening, while a lower end of the upper half has a lower opening. The lower half can be fitted into the upper half from the upper opening. A press member is fitted in the upper opening of the upper half. A pair of opposite first protuberances and a pair of opposite second protuberances are formed on inner wall face of the upper half near the upper opening. When the lower half is retracted into the upper half, the first protuberances abut against the lower half. The second protuberances serve to engage with and fix the press member with the upper half. A clip is disposed on outer side of upper section of the jacket for easy carriage of the telescopic chopstick set.

  • Patent number: 6343542
Abstract: A Coffee-making container including a main body in which a mesh rack is disposed. The center of the bottom of the main body is formed with a draining hole which is opened and closed under control of a controlling mechanism. The main body has a handle and a cap is pivotally connected with the handle for closing the opening of the main body. The mesh rack has at least one upward extending upright section for enlarging the filtering area for the coffee. A switch member is pivotally connected with the pivot sections of the handle and the cap. The switch member is leant against a leaf spring extending from the handle and controlled by the leaf spring. When the switch member is pressed down, the switch member is engaged with and located by the leaf spring and the press rod is pressed down to open the draining hole of the main body. Therefore, the coffee can quickly filter through the mesh rack and the upright section thereof and flow out from the draining hole.

  • Patent number: 5725765
Abstract: A tea maker structure is disclosed. It includes a percolator cup as an upper layer of the tea maker and a tea cup as a lower layer of the tea maker. A bottom of the percolator cup is formed with a water outlet communicating with the tea cup. A filter mesh is disposed above the water outlet to prevent tea grounds from blocking the water outlet. The opening/closing of the water outlet is controlled by a controlling mechanism coaxially disposed in the percolator cup, whereby the tea can flow into the tea cup with the tea grounds remaining in the percolator cup. Also, this tea maker is prevented from falling down due to improper application.
