  • Publication number: 20240081056
Abstract: A double patterning method of manufacturing select gates and word lines is provided in the present invention, including forming first string patterns composed of word line patterns and select gate patterns on a target layer, forming a conformal spacer layer on first string patterns, wherein the spacer layer forms trenches between first string patterns, forming a fill layer filling up the trenches on the spacer layer, removing fill layer outside of the trenches, so that fill layer in the trenches forms second string patterns, wherein the second string patterns and the first string patterns are spaced apart, removing exposed spacer layer, so that the first string patterns and the second string patterns constitute target patterns spaced apart from each other on the target layer, and performing an etching process using those target patterns as a mask to remove exposed target layer, so as to form word lines and select gates.

  • Patent number: 7980164
Abstract: A multi-purpose hole punch, having a main body pivotal configured with a pivot shaft, an upper end of which is pivotal configured with a press plate, and the lower end is connected to a base plate, thereby forming a gap between the main body and the base plate. Each through hole of three sides of the main body has a key-press, and a punch is located in each of the through holes beneath the key-press. Two joined transform plates are pivotal configured on two sides in the gap. One of the transform plates is configured with an unfilled corner able to fixedly position a corner of paper, while the other transform plate forms an unfilled corner able to fixedly position the edge of paper. Accordingly, rotating the press plate and pressing the key-presses above the two unfilled corners enables punching holes in the corner and margin of the paper.

  • Publication number: 20110005362
Abstract: An improved hole punch, wherein a gap is formed between a base plate located at a lower portion and a main body, which is provided with a pivot shaft pivotal configured with a pressure plate. A through hole is defined in the main body beneath the pressure plate, and a press key is located above the through hole. A punching pin mounted with a spring is disposed beneath the press key. An adjusting plate is symmetrically pivoted on two sides of the gap, and an adjusting bar penetrates the rear end of the main body. Accordingly, rotatably adjusting the two adjusting plates to the corner angle of paper enables perforating the paper corner placed within the gap, moreover, the front end position of the adjusting bar can be adjusted to enable the paper edge to be retained thereat and enable punching holes at a consistent distance from the paper edge.

  • Publication number: 20060270243
Abstract: A system for depositing film includes (1) a substrate holder assembly, (2) a particle source, (3) an alignment shield between the particle source and the substrate holder assembly, and (4) a vacuum chamber for enclosing the substrate holder assembly, the particle source, and the alignment shield. The alignment shield includes alignment cells each having walls that can be individually adjusted to change the oblique deposition angles. By adjusting the walls of the alignment cells, uniform oblique deposition angles can be achieved on substrates held by the substrate holder assembly. The deposited film with uniform orientation can be used as the alignment layer of a liquid crystal display.

  • Publication number: 20060111009
Abstract: A system is disclosed to manufacture an array of multi-layer image display faceplates. Each faceplate has inner dams and outer dams forming irrigation ditches with inlets and outlets for entry and overflow of a bonding resin during its filling into the irrigation ditches. An array bonding mechanism is included for bonding the layers of the faceplate array and a bonding effluent injector array coupled to the inlets and the outlets of the faceplate array for filling the irrigation ditches with the bonding resin. The bonding effluent injector array further includes an array of glue-injecting pipings and glue-returning pipings mechanically and detachably coupled to the inlets and the outlets. A pressurized upstream glue-injecting manifold is coupled to the glue-injecting piping. A downstream glue-returning manifold is coupled to the glue-returning piping for collecting an overflow bonding resin. The system also includes an array curing mechanism for curing the filled bonding resin.

  • Publication number: 20050282457
Abstract: A multi-layer image display faceplate and method of making is proposed for a micro-display or an LCD display. A layer of hard solid material is plated onto either a wafer or a glass base plate of an LCD faceplate array. The hard solid material is then coated with a photoresist and photolithographically etched into at least one parallel pair of inner dam and outer dam with the inner dam surrounding thus defining an interstitial volume and the dams forming an irrigation ditch in between. Next, either the glass base plate or the wafer is placed on top and the interstitial volume is filled with an effluent LCD material while the irrigation ditch is filled with a bonding effluent such as a resin. The resin then goes through a hardening treatment resulting in a desired multi-layer structure with an accurate gap height between the glass base plate and the wafer.
