    Abstract: A cleaning composition for contact lenses, comprises, as the major component, polypropyleneoxide-polyethyleneoxide block copolymers (Pluronic type) and/or condensation products of polypropyleneoxide-polyethyleneoxide block copolymers with ethylene diamine (Tetronic type), in which said major component is a mixture of those having an ethyleneoxide content of from 35 to 55% by weight and a molecular weight of from 1,500 to 10,000 and those having an ethyleneoxide content of from 70 to 90% by weight and a molecular weight of at least 4,000.
