  • Patent number: 11954357
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a memory system includes a nonvolatile memory and a memory controller. The nonvolatile memory includes blocks each including memory cells. The memory controller is configured to control access to the nonvolatile memory. The memory controller is configured to: set a first block, among the plurality of blocks, to be written in a first mode, the first mode being a mode in which data of a first number of bits is written into the memory cell, and set a plurality of second blocks, among the plurality of blocks, to be written in a second mode, the second mode being a mode in which data of a second number of bits is written into the memory cell, the second number being larger than the first number; acquire access information related to the second blocks; and change a writing mode of the first block which has been set in the first mode to the second mode when a first condition of the second blocks based on the access information is satisfied.

  • Patent number: 6073234
Abstract: Both of a user side and a protect side such as a programmer of an application programmer need not handle a large number of inherent information such as authentication keys. An access ticket generation device generates an access ticket from user unique identifying information and access rights authentication feature information. As unique security characteristic information, there is used a secret key of an elliptic curve encryption or an ElGamal encryption. A proof data generation device receives the access ticket, converts authentication data received from a proof data verification device into proof data by use of the access ticket and the user unique identifying information, and returns the resultant proof data to the proof data verification device. The proof data generation device or the proof data verification device decrypts the above-mentioned encryption.

  • Patent number: 5951193
Abstract: A mechanism for connecting ornamental parts of wrist watches that permit easily connecting and disconnecting ornamental parts without using any special tool and without marring the appearance of wrist watches. A stepped pin is inserted in a larger-diameter bore of a cocoon-shaped ring fitted in an end piece and a bore in a watch casing. Then, a smaller-diameter part of the stepped pin is moved into a smaller-diameter bore by pulling the watch casing and a band longitudinally. With the stepped pin thus securely held in place, the watch casing and band are firmly connected.
