Publication number: 20240071705Abstract: A power supply control device is to be installed in a vehicle. The power supply control device controls power supply via a semiconductor switch and a fuse by turning the semiconductor switch ON or OFF. The semiconductor switch and the fuse are mounted on a circuit board. In the fuse, two long plate-shaped terminals are arranged in a row. The fusing portion and a part of the two terminals are covered with a housing having heat resistance. The two terminals are disposed in a current path of a current flowing through the semiconductor switch. The current flows through the fusing portion. If the temperature of the fusing portion exceeds a predetermined temperature, the fusing portion is fused.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 28, 2021Publication date: February 29, 2024Inventors: Ryosuke MASUDA, Masayuki KATO, Shunichi SAWANO, Ryohei SAWADA

Patent number: 5687097Abstract: A method of implementing a fast video encoder by approximating a frame motion vector is introduced. MPEG-2 encoding uses both field and frame vectors in the encoding process. To implement an encoder in an efficient manner, an approximated motion vector created from two field motion vectors is used. The frame motion vector may be determined using the two field motion vectors alone, or by using the two field motion vectors in conjunction with their respective absolute error values. By using the disclosed methods, a motion estimation part for generating frame motion vector is not necessary. Only two field motion estimation parts are required to determine the field motion vectors, the frame motion vector is then approximated using the two field motion vectors. The cost and complexity of a digital video encoder system is thereby reduced.Type: GrantFiled: July 13, 1995Date of Patent: November 11, 1997Assignee: Zapex Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Hideyuki Mizusawa, Shunichi Masuda, Masashi Tayama
