    Abstract: An electrostatic copying apparatus includes a main copying device for one-sided copying and an auxiliary copying device removably coupled with the main device for double-sided copying. The auxiliary device includes a director gate for selectively leading a recording paper, having been copied on one side and having been transferred from the main device through a paper exhaust opening thereof, to first and second auxiliary paper exhaust trays. The paper in the second auxiliary paper exhaust tray is again supplied to the main device through a paper supplying opening of the main copying device to enable the other side to be copied.

    Abstract: A paper feeding cassette for receiving paper piles of different widths to be able to replace, comprises a stationary bottom plate on which is disposed the rear portion of the paper pile, a movable bottom plate vertically movable relative to the stationary bottom plate and having the front portion of the paper pile disposed thereon, springs for upwardly urging the movable bottom plate, a movable side plate regulating the other side edge of the paper pile, and separation pawl for enabling the uppermost paper alone of the paper pile to be fed. The movable bottom plate has a width not smaller than the width of the largest paper which can be housed in the cassette, and the side plate is movable along the movable bottom plate so as to allow the side edges of the paper pile of a width smaller than the width of the largest paper to be regulated.

    Abstract: An automatic paper currency depositing machine comprises a supply section into which a unit of paper currencies is deposited, a device for taking out the paper currencies piece by piece from the supply section and transferring it, a sensing section for judging at least one of the genuineness, validity and kind of the paper currencies as well as takeout of any overlapped paper currencies, a sorting gate for sorting out the deposited paper currencies into fit bank notes, unfit bank notes and overlapped paper currencies as a result of such a judgement at the sensing section, a reject pocket into which the unfit paper currencies and overlapped bank notes are sent, a storage section for receiving the fit paper currencies for stacking, and a device for calculating a total amount of fit paper currencies.

    Abstract: A paper sheets processing apparatus is provided with a draw-out and conveyance section for drawing out one by one a paper sheet from the paper sheets arranged in a laminated state and conveying said paper sheet, a detection section for detecting each of the paper sheets conveyed thereto to discriminate whether or not it is a normal sheet, or is a soiled sheet, and a reception and pile-up section for receiving and piling up each of the paper sheets thus discriminated in accordance with the detected results of the detection section. The apparatus is further provided with a means for separating normal sheets in units of a prescribed number of sheets to pile up them, a means for supplying a bundling member for bundling each unit of the normal sheets piled up in units of said prescribed number of sheets, and a means for bundling this normal sheet unit by said bundling number.
