Abstract: A remote control device for tape recorder is disclosed. The device comprises a microphone unit to be connected to a microphone amplifier system provided in a body of the tape recorder, various kinds of operating switches to be connected to a main control circuit provided in the tape recorder body, and a display means connected to the microphone and to be connected to the microphone amplifier system.

Abstract: The disclosed tape recorder serves for supplying a microphone output to a recording and reproducing head through an amplifier during recording by switching a recording and reproducing switch. A noise removing circuit at the output of said amplifier suppresses the output from the amplifier to the head a predetermined time during application of an electric power supply source of the amplifier.

Abstract: A switch set in the power supply section of a microphone is actuated at the initial stage of the slide of an operation button which is carried out to shift a tape recorder operation from the recording mode to the stop mode. The switch is actuated at the terminal stage of the slide of the operation button which is carried out to changeover the tape recorder operation from the stop mode to the recording mode. Therefore it is possible to eliminate the unnecessary recording in the built-in microphone of noises disagreeable to the ear of the user which are caused by, for example, the slide of the operation button.
