An unlocking key 4 to be inserted into the plug 1 is provided with unlocking code forming recesses 3 for determining the turning positions of the tumbler pins at code decision positions. The tumbler pins 2 are provided at their leading end portions with drive portions 5, which have slope sides of conical faces gradually reduced in diameter toward the leading ends and having rotational centers offset from the moving direction center axes. The side wall faces of the unlocking code forming recesses 3 are formed of conical faces having rotational centers substantially aligned with those of the conical faces forming the slope sides of the drive portions 5.

    Abstract: An unlock system does not use a key that might be copied so that only a correct person can unlock a door and security is enhanced. Unlock records of door-lock are stored in a limited memory capacity in volume. Fingerprint data input to a fingerprint input section 21 disposed outside a door 11 provided on a doorway 10 is detected, and the detected fingerprint data is verified against previously registered fingerprint data. If it was confirmed that the detected fingerprint data coincided with the registered fingerprint data, an unlock signal is output to unlock the door-lock, and a setting time or start-using time is stored in a storing section having a clock function.

    Abstract: Method and apparatus for producing thermoplastic resin film which allows a biaxially oriented polyester film to be formed at a high speed of 400 m/min or more. In the method, a molten thermoplastic resin film is brought into contact with a cooling medium, to be cooled and solidified, for producing a cast film. The method is characterized by keeping the surface temperature of the cooling medium in the region immediately before the melt reaching position at not lower than the glass transition temperature and not higher than the melting point of the thermoplastic resin. The apparatus is characterized by a cooling medium having a heater and a cooler to ensure that the surface temperature of the cooling medium in the region immediately before the melt reaching position is kept at the requisite temperature, and by a surface temperature of the cooling drum in the region immediately before the film leaving position being maintained lower than the glass transition temperature of the thermoplastic resin.

    Abstract: A cylinder lock having a key insertion hole or clearance formed between a casing and a key guide member. A key for the cylinder lock is provided with a thin cylindrical member which is to be inserted into the annular key insertion hole when the key is inserted into the cylinder lock. The cylindrical member is filled at its first end section with a part of a key shank. A slider is slidably disposed inside the cylindrical member and normally located inside the second end section of the cylindrical member. The slider is formed at its tip end with a fitting projection which is to be fitted in a guiding depression formed at the tip end face of the key guide member. The key insertion hole is formed narrow or thin, corresponding to the thin cylindrical member of the key, thereby preventing a picking tool from being inserted through the narrow key insertion hole into the cylinder lock.

    Abstract: A cylindrical lock includes a casing having an annular front face with an inner circumferential portion surrounding a key insert member received by a key. A keyhole is defined between the inner circumferential portion and the key insert member, a lower portion of the key insert member is displaced from an axial center of a lock cylinder by a predetermined distance. The key includes a cylindrical end received by the key hole. A thickness of an upper side of the cylindrical end is different from a thickness of the lower end such that, when the key is rotated, the displaced lower side of the key insert member causes a width of portions of the keyhole to be varied. Thus picking of the cylindrical lock with a picking tool or the like is prevented.

    Abstract: A door lock assembly comprises an outside operating section, an inside operating section and a mechanical lock, detachably mounted on a door. The outside operating section includes a switch button array which operates an electromagnetic plunger into an unlocking mode when a preselected number is set into switch buttons of the array. Operation of the electromagnetic plunger moves a mechanical on-off assembly to an off-position so that a rotatable knob can be manually rotated to operate a slidable dead bolt of the mechanical lock. The on-off assembly includes a resiliently biased slidable stop member mounted in a rotatably mounted member and having a reduced shoulder portion engageable in an opening in a cylindrical portion of a stationary hollow member, with the stop member being movable to an off-position disengaged from the opening by actuation of the electromagnetic plunger.
