  • Patent number: 6919791
Abstract: An electronic key device for a vehicle which performs starting of the vehicle by performing ID verification against a portable electronic key unit includes an ID verification device, a decision device, and a vehicle starting control device. When the number of times that the result of ID checking by the ID verification device is negative and also the portable key unit is not present within the vehicle arrives at a predetermined value, a locked mode is set in which thereafter starting of the vehicle is prohibited unless a predetermined procedure is performed. When the result of ID checking by the ID verification device is affirmative and the portable key unit is not present within the vehicle, then no such predetermined number of times calculation for setting the locked mode is performed.

  • Publication number: 20030210130
Abstract: An electronic key device for a vehicle which performs starting of the vehicle by performing ID verification against a portable electronic key unit includes an ID verification device which performs ID verification against the portable electronic key unit when pushing in operation of an ignition knob has been performed, a decision device which decides whether or not the portable electronic key unit is present within the vehicle when vehicle starting operation has been performed, and a vehicle starting control device which performs starting control of the vehicle, when the ID checking result and also the result of the decision by the decision device are both affirmative. When the number of times that the result of ID checking by the ID verification device is negative and also it is decided that the portable key unit is not present within the vehicle arrives at a predetermined value, a locked mode is set in which thereafter starting of the vehicle is prohibited unless a predetermined procedure is performed.

  • Patent number: 5037131
Abstract: A harness protecting device of a steering column having a telescopic function includes a protector, having a cable penetrating section in the front and the rear, equipped so as to contract and expand at will across the fixing and moving sides of the steering column having the telescopic function. A pair of flexible bow-like holders in the protector, for dividing a plurality of single core cables from the penetrating section, into two in the width direction of the protector in order to retain the cables. The cables, which are connected to electrical equipment attached to the moving side of the steering column, and which are wired along the steering column, are wired along the bow-like holders in the protector so as to contract and expand.

  • Patent number: 5003129
Abstract: A protecting structure for a harness arranged over stationary and movable sides of a telescopic steering column comprises a flat, wide harness protector for protecting the harness. The harness protector includes a pair of openings opposing each other in its longitudinal direction to introduce the harness thereinto or to extract the harness therefrom. The harness protector is in itself constructed to telescopically move according to telescopic motion of the steering column when the harness protector is arranged over both of the stationary and movable sides of the steering column. The harness protector includes a harness guide provided midway therebetween for defining two branch harness passageways converged towards the openings to arrange the harness in such a manner as to branch the harness into two harness sections in its transverse direction, thereby allowing the two branched harness sections to move inwardly or outwardly in a transverse direction according to the telescopic motion of the steering column.

  • Patent number: 4774441
Abstract: A motor control system for controlling operation of a plurality of motors. The motor control system is composed of a microcomputer for performing sequential control of the motors. A plurality of integrated circuits are provided to drive the motors, respectively, in response to signal output from the microcomputer. Each integrated circuit has two input terminals connected respectively to two output ports of the microcomputer and two output terminals connected respectively to one terminals of the motors. Additionally, a change-over circuit is provided to change over the rotational direction of the motors in response to signals from the microcomputer.
