  • Patent number: 7424605
Abstract: When a client server is permitted to be connected to a network through a first access point based on authentication by an authentication server, the authentication server informs the first access point of an encipher key such as a WEP key used for encipher communication between the client device and the first access point. Then, when the client device is moved to a communicable range of a second access point, the authentication server creates no new encipher keys but informs the second access point of the encipher key used for the encipher communication with the first access point, whereby encipher communication is executed between the client device and the second access point by using the same encipher key as that used for the encipher communication with the first access point.

  • Patent number: 7133666
Abstract: In a radio communication system, during radio connection between a base station 100 and a terminal 200, the base station 100 transmits a reception status notification request to the terminal 200. The terminal 200 receives the reception status notification request from the base station 100, then measures reception electric field intensity and error rate in the communication with the base station 100 and transmits these values as reception status information to the base station 100. The base station 100 stores the reception status information notified from the terminal 200, with linkage to a terminal number. When call origination to all the terminals has been completed, the base station 100 displays all the reception status information stored in a storage device 104, with linkage with terminal numbers, on an external display device.

  • Patent number: 6804195
Abstract: Data communicated on one wireless channel is converted and communicated via a wired line. Alternatively, data communicated on a plurality of wireless channels is bundled and communicated via a wired line using a number of channels smaller than that of the wireless channels. In a case where another wireless communication apparatus wishes to use a wireless communication channel when a plurality of wireless channels are being used for communication, some of the plurality of wireless channels are released, thereby making it possible for the other communication apparatus to perform communication even when communication is being carried out using the plurality of wireless channels. When communication by the other wireless communication apparatus subsequently ends, communication on the original number of wireless channels is resumed.

  • Patent number: 6314296
Abstract: The position registration function of a cellular wireless communication apparatus is utilized to specify the position of the apparatus, notification of which is given to a communicating party. By additionally notifying the communicating party of identification information representing the wireless communication apparatus, the communicating party can use this information in judging whether or not to answer the call. Further, route traveled by the wireless communication apparatus is specified using the position registration function, and the transportation fare required for such travel is calculated.

  • Patent number: 6229985
Abstract: When a power failure occurs, a control unit 107 of a main apparatus 101 acquires the outside line 102a through an outside line I/F unit 102 and transmits a signal for requesting terminating transfer and a signal for designating a transfer destination to a public network 108 while receiving power from a backup power supply 106M. After this terminating transfer is requested, and an incoming call to the telephone number of an outside line 102a is received, the public network 108 calls the transfer destination designated for terminating transfer. If the telephone number for calling a radio telephone set 109 from a public base station 113 is designated as this transfer destination, the public base station 113 calls the radio telephone set 109 in a terminating transfer operation.

  • Patent number: 5642400
Abstract: A communication apparatus to which communication units for communicating in accordance with a multichannel access method are connected comprises a receiver to receive ID information of a communication channel to be used from the plurality of communication units, and a selector to select the communication channel in accordance with the ID information received by the receiver. Namely, the selector selects the communication channel other than the communication channel such as to exert an influence on a control channel or other communication channels if it is used together with the in-use communication channel. Or, now assuming that a frequency of the in-use communication channel is set to f.sub.A, the selector selects the communication channel other than the communication channel of a frequency f.sub.B such that (2f.sub.A -f.sub.B) or (2f.sub.B -f.sub.A) is equal to the frequency of the control channel or the frequency of the other communication channel.

  • Patent number: 5602910
Abstract: In a call transfer apparatus wherein a request to transfer a call between first and second communication partners from the second communication partner to a transfer destination is made, a discriminating circuit discriminates whether the transfer destination can respond. A control unit places the first communication partner in a holding state while it is determined whether the transfer destination can respond. If the transfer destination can respond, the call is transferred. If speech communication with the transfer destination is not possible, the control unit releases the holding state of the first communication partner.

  • Patent number: 5594944
Abstract: A wireless channel selecting apparatus includes: a memory to store data indicating whether each of a plurality of wireless speech channels can be selected or not; and a selector to select the wireless speech channels to be used on the basis of the data stored in the memory. The number of times at which the wireless channels have been determined to be disabled is stored as data in the memory. The selection of the wireless speech channels which have been decided to be disabled is inhibited. The wireless speech channels other than the inhibited channels are selected as speech channels to be used. The inhibition of the channel selection is released after the elapse of a predetermined time from the inhibition.

  • Patent number: 5157305
Abstract: A deflecting yoke for a television receiver comprises a parallel circuit of leakage magnetic field erasing or cancel coils connected in series with a parallel circuit of horizontal deflecting coils. The leakage magnetic field generated by the horizontal deflecting coils is cancelled by applying a magnetic field in an opposite magnetizing direction. The inductances of the cancel coils can be separately adjusted by adjusting the tap position of an adjusting variable tapped coil connected in series with the cancel coils.

  • Patent number: 5008600
Abstract: A deflection yoke device is a device for deflecting an electron beam traveling inside a CRT, and a deflection yoke device which is driven by a particularly high frequency has horizontal deflection coils each wound into a saddle-type configuration. In the invention, each horizontal deflection coil is provided with an intermediate terminal, and a damping circuit is provided between the intermediate terminals or between each intermediate terminal and a high voltage-side terminal or a low voltage-side terminal. The damping circuit eliminates electrical oscillations occurring in the horizontal deflection coil.

  • Patent number: 4833432
Abstract: The saturable reactor employs two dual drum cores having two winding portions which are sandwiched by two common permanent magnets to statically bias the magnetism. Each winding portion of each drum core is wound with two impedance coils which are individually series-connected to the either of two horizontal deflection coils. Two drum cores are inserted into the common control coils. When a horizontal deflection current is supplied to the impedance coils and a vertical deflection current is supplied to the control coil, the current which flows in a pair of horizontal deflection coils varies differentially in a vertical deflection cycle to minimize misconvergence.
