  • Patent number: 7918438
Abstract: A dynamic damper containing a mass and an elastic connector is connected to an inner tube to provide the dynamic damper integrally as a part of an apparatus. Since the dynamic damper is integrally provided as part of the apparatus (cab mount) by connecting the dynamic damper containing the mass and the elastic connector to the inner tube via a connecting member in the cab mount, it is possible to eliminate work for assembling the dynamic damper separately from the cab mount. Further, the dynamic damper may be constructed integrally as part of the cab mount.

  • Patent number: 7016691
Abstract: Regulating the unnecessary handover control count and reducing the power consumption of a radio mobile station thereby reducing the load on an entire radio telecommunications system to maintain stable communications. By adding a position calculator, a direction calculator and a velocity calculator to a radio mobile station and adding the information on a radio base station and the peripheral radio base stations into report information used by the radio base station, handover control considers the position, direction, and velocity as well as the downlink communications quality according to the related art. This regulates the unnecessary handover control count and reduces the load on the entire radio telecommunications system and the power consumption of the radio mobile station.

  • Patent number: 6118971
Abstract: In an original-feeding device and method, originals are conveyed from an original-tray on which a bundle of originals can be mounted to an original-reading mount. A control unit controls an original-conveying operation so as to separate and feed originals from the bundle of originals mounted on the original-tray onto the original-reading mount either from an uppermost original or from a lowermost original. The control unit can control the original-conveying operation to juxtapose two consecutive originals on the original-reading mount irrespective of whether the originals are fed from the uppermost or lower-most original. In addition, the number of originals in the bundle can be counted if certain conditions exist.

  • Patent number: 4940225
Abstract: A sheet handling apparatus to perform predetermined processes for a recorded sheet comprises: a processor to process a sheet which is output from a sheet output unit; a sensor to detect a carrier speed of the sheet; and a controller to perform predetermined processes on the basis of the sheet carrier speed detected by the sensor and sheet carrier speed data transmitted from the sheet output unit. The processor has a carrier to carry the sheet output from the sheet output unit and then stores the sheet carried by the carrier into storage units. The controller compares the sheet carrier speed detected by the sensor with the sheet carrier sheed data transmitted from the sheet output unit and outputs a warning signal to display the result of the comparison when the former speed is deviated from the latter speed by a value above a predetermined value.
