Abstract: In a numerical control apparatus comprising a control unit having a master card and a plurality of slave cards, the master card of the control unit transmits a read address signal code, a card name large classification code, and plural card identification address information to slave cards as a check address signal and the slave cards send back card name small classification code and plural card number code to the master card in response to the check address signal, so that the master card can identify the types of the slave cards and the order of the same type cards in the slave cards.

Abstract: An ink donor sheet color detecting device is disclosed wherein markers differentiated from each other in shape or in length for individual colors of inks applied to an ink donor sheet are provided at positions on the ink donor sheet corresponding to individual ink areas while a judging means for judging the differentiated shaper or length of a marker is provided in order to to allow distinction of a color of the ink of an ink area corresponding to the marker.

Abstract: A dot-matrix print controller having a dot pattern generating means for generating a dot pattern to be printed and a means for supplying current pulses to a dot-matrix print head in accordance with an output of said dot pattern generating means, said controller comprising a counter means for counting the number of dots of a dot pattern to be printed; and a pulse width control means for controlling the width of said current pulses applied to said print head so that the thickness of print is constant.
