  • Patent number: 5561174
Abstract: Disclosed is a liquid epoxy resin composition comprising (A) a liquid epoxy resin, (B) a dimethylpolysiloxane having epoxy groups at its both ends, and (C) a dispersing agent comprising the reaction product of (C-1) a dimethylpolysiloxane having amino groups or carboxyl groups reactive with epoxy resins at its side chains or both ends and having phenyl groups or polyether groups for improving its compatibility with epoxy resins at its side chains, and (C-2) an epoxy resin having the same structure as the component (A). The composition has a reduced internal stress, while maintaining the heat resistance intrinsic to epoxy resins, and has excellent resistance, crack resistance and heat shock resistance.

  • Patent number: 5451882
Abstract: Powder and a liquid medium are introduced between a pair of electrode members which are opposed to each other with a constant space, formed there between and an apparent dielectric constant of a composite system of the powder and the liquid medium is measured with a powder volume ratio being set at 0.45 to 0.55 and a measuring frequency of at least 1 MHz. The measured value is applied to the logarithmic mixing rule or the Lichtone-Rother equation, to find the dielectric constant of the powder. It is possible to reliably find the dielectric constant of the powder with application of the logarithmic mixing rule or the Lichtone-Rother equation.

  • Patent number: 5291460
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a piezoelectric sounding body comprising a piezoelectric substrate, an electrode film provided on its surface and a vibrating plate provided on the electrode film through an adhesion layer so as to conduct with the electrode film. The adhesion layer is prepared from an ultraviolet setting type anaerobic adhesive containing 0.1 to 1.0 percent by weight of carbon particles of 1.0 to 20.0 .mu.m in mean particle diameter.

  • Patent number: 5279623
Abstract: A method of fabricating a flat type electrochemical device, which is constructed by placing in a case comprising first and second case half bodies a separator and first and second functional substances for an electrochemical device so arranged as to interpose the separator. Peripheral portions of the first and second case half bodies are overlapped with each other, the peripheral portions are welded by a welding process during the application of pressure whereby the peripheral portions are joined with substantially no gaps. The portions welded by the welding process with pressure are then further welded using a laser beam welding.

  • Patent number: 5154973
Abstract: This invention is to provide a composite material for dielectric lens antennas which contains 3-70 percent by volume of a high dielectric constant ceramic and 30-97 percent by volume of a macromolecular material. At this time it is desirable that the mean particle diameter of the high dielectric constant ceramic is 1-50 .mu.m. It is also preferable that the macromolecular material is a thermoplastic macromolecular material. A dielectric lens is made of this composite material for the dielectric lens antennas. Further, the dielectric lens antenna is preferably produced forming a matching layer on the dielectric lens surface.
