  • Publication number: 20240283304
Abstract: A magnetic element for an electric machine is formed of a single-piece magnetic body made of a permanently magnetic material. The magnetic body has two longitudinal sides extending in a longitudinal direction and two transverse sides extending in a cross direction. A number of mutually parallel, slit-shaped first recesses are formed in the magnetic body. The first recesses extend from a first side to a center of the magnetic body. A number of mutually parallel, slit-shaped second recesses are formed in the magnetic body. The second recesses extend from a second side, which is opposite from the first side, to the center of the magnetic body.

  • Patent number: 8808660
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of precipitation of metal ions. Mineral(s), oxide(s), hydroxide(s) of magnesium and/or calcium are adopted as raw materials, and the raw material(s) is processed through at least one step of calcination, slaking, or carbonization to produce aqueous solution(s) of magnesium bicarbonate and/or calcium bicarbonate, and then the solution(s) is used as precipitant(s) to deposit rare earth, such as nickel, cobalt, iron, aluminum, gallium, indium, manganese, cadmium, zirconium, hafnium, strontium, barium, copper and zinc ions. And at least one of metal carbonates, hydroxides or basic carbonates is obtained, or furthermore the obtained products are calcined to produce metal oxides. The invention takes the cheap calcium and/or magnesium minerals or their oxides, hydroxides with low purity as raw materials to instead common precipitants such as ammonium bicarbonate and sodium carbonate etc.

  • Publication number: 20060244168
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and device for orienting magnetisable particles (4) in a kneadable material (3), in particular steel fibres or rings in unhardened concrete by means of an orienting body (1) provided with a non-magnetic wall comprising a front face section (1a) and a rear face section (1b). A kneadable material (33) and the front face section (1a) of the orientation body (1) are first and foremost displaced with respect to each other. The orientation body (1) is also provided with a magnetic unit (2) which is disposed on the internal side of said front face section (1a) and generates a periodically variable magnetic field acting on the kneadable material in order to orient the magnetisable particles (4). Said invention is characterised in that said magnetic field is divided into at least two areas (III) containing the partial fields exhibiting different forces and/or different directions of force lines.
