  • Publication number: 20240055958
Abstract: An electric work machine includes a motor, a circuit board, a case, at least one elastic member, and a filler. The circuit board includes a heat generating element mounted thereon, and the heat generating element generates heat due to the motor being driven. The case includes a heat dissipation part thermally coupled to the heat generating element and houses the circuit board therein. The at least one elastic member is placed between the circuit board and the case, and is housed inside the case. The filler is filled inside the case and fixes the circuit board and the at least one elastic member inside the case.

  • Publication number: 20210220959
Abstract: A power tool, such as a grinder, may include: a prime mover such as a motor; a power-transmission mechanism operably connected to the prime mover; a housing that houses the prime mover and the power-transmission mechanism; and a tool-accessory retaining part for holding a tool accessary. The tool-accessory retaining part is operably connected to the power-transmission mechanism. An accessory is mounted on the housing in a detachable manner. A link member moves in response to mounting and demounting of the accessory. A detection sensor is housed in an interior of the housing and includes a non-contact sensor device. The detection sensor is configured to detect movement of the link member using the non-contact sensor device.

  • Patent number: 9871389
Abstract: A battery pack in the present disclosure comprises: a battery; a switching element that is provided in a discharge path from the battery to an external load and that is configured to complete or interrupt the discharge path; a control circuit that operates by receiving a supply of an electric power from the battery, that conducts an electric current through the switching element so as to allow discharge from the battery to the external load, and upon occurrence of an abnormality in the battery or the external load during the discharge, that interrupts the switching element so as to inhibit the discharge from the battery to the external load; and a protection circuit that monitors an operating condition of the control circuit and that interrupts the switching element when the control circuit is inoperative.

  • Patent number: 9570924
Abstract: A battery pack of one aspect of an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises a battery, a control unit, a pair of external terminals, a first current cut-off unit, and a second current cut-off unit. The control unit determines whether the first current cut-off unit and the second current cut-off unit are normal or abnormal when neither charge nor discharge of the battery is performed. When the first current cut-off unit and the second current cut-off unit are both normal, the control unit turns the first current cut-off unit and the second current cut-off unit to an energized state. When at least one of the first current cut-off unit and the second current cut-off unit is abnormal, the control unit turns the first current cut-off unit or the second current cut-off unit to a cut-off state.
