  • Publication number: 20210157856
Abstract: Facet-based search processing is provided which includes receiving a query search context for querying documents of a document set, and retrieving, by similar document search processing, a document subset from the document set. The document subset includes documents of the set most similar to a search document of the query search context. Facet analysis processing is used to generate M candidate facets most-related to the query search context, and facets of the M candidate facets associated with documents of the subset are identified, and classified into a positive facet set and a negative facet set based, at least in part, on extent of facet commonality across the documents. A listing is of the documents in the document subset is provided, with the listing highlighting facets of the positive facet set.

  • Publication number: 20210042393
Abstract: Time dependent media (TDM) content is received, and text features and non-text features are extracted from the TDM content. The TDM content is split into two or more documents. A document, which includes non-text features from the extracted non-text features, is selected. Non-text features in the document are compared to context patterns. When a context pattern matches a non-text feature in the document, a context element linked to the context pattern is linked to the non-text feature as well. The TDM content is modified based on the context element.

  • Publication number: 20200293566
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to a system, computer program product, and method for text mining, and dynamic facet and facet value management and application to a document collection. Two or more words from a first document collection are extracted, with the extracted words being associated with an applied annotation. At least one word is selected from the extracted words, designated as a facet, and a value is selectively added to the facet. An analysis of the added value is dynamically performed, and a dictionary with the annotation, facet, and values is constructed and the dictionary is applied to the document collection. A targeted list of documents is returned from the dictionary application to the document collection.

  • Patent number: 10740381
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to a system, computer program product, and method for dynamic facet dictionary management. As one or more annotations are applied to a document collection, electronic text and associated facets are identified. Additional facets and facet values are identified and selectively applied to a knowledge base. A dictionary comprised of facets and associated facet values is constructed from the selective application. Application of the dictionary to the knowledge base identifies and returns a targeted document collection. Accordingly, facet mining and dictionary construction are dynamically applied to the knowledge base.
