  • Patent number: 8029230
Abstract: A turbine exhaust system includes an exhaust hood inner casing that involves the turbine rotor; an exhaust hood outer casing that forms an exhaust hood, together with the exhaust hood inner casing; a flow guide that forms an annular diffuser flow path; and exhaust hood upper part flow guides each of which serves as means for separating annular plane upper part exhaust steam within a range including a vertical upward flow out of exhaust steam radially discharging from the flow guide into the exhaust hood, from other exhaust steam, to thereby introduce the separated steam to the condenser, wherein exhaust steam introduction-side end faces thereof are located further toward the upper side than the horizontal plane containing the central axis of the turbine rotor.

  • Patent number: 7815416
Abstract: In a steam turbine having a cross-over duct for delivering steam discharged from an intermediate pressure turbine to low pressure turbines, the intermediate pressure turbine provides two outlets for discharging exhaust steam, the low pressure turbine provides two inlets, and the outlets and the inlets are arranged on the same straight line as viewed from a planar direction. One of the outlets and one of the inlets which are close to each other are connected through a cross-over duct, the other of the outlets and the other of the inlets which are far from each other are connected through another cross-over duct, and the cross-over ducts are arranged to be at two stages in the up-down direction.

  • Publication number: 20100232966
Abstract: In a steam turbine including a turbine rotor 7; a moving blade 1 secured to the turbine rotor 7; a shroud 3 provided on an outer circumferential side distal end of the moving blade 1; and an outer circumferential side stationary wall 4 internally embracing the turbine rotor 7 and forming an outer circumferential side passage wall of a steam path, the shroud 3 has an inner circumferential surface 14 so formed that a moving blade outlet flare angle ?3 is greater than a moving blade inlet flare angle ?2; an angle ?1 formed between the outer circumferential side stationary wall 4 and the turbine central axis 50 is generally equal to the moving blade inlet flare angle ?2; and an angle ?4 formed between the outer circumferential side stationary wall and an turbine central axis 50 is generally equal to the moving blade outlet flare angle ?3.

  • Publication number: 20080063518
Abstract: The prevent invention provides a steam turbine having a cross-over duct that can reduce a pressure loss occurring therein and is structured excellently in view of strength. In the steam turbine having a cross-over duct 10 for delivering steam discharged from an intermediate pressure turbine 5 to low pressure turbines 6a, 6b, the intermediate pressure turbine provides two outlets 13a, 13b for discharging exhaust steam, the low pressure turbine provides two inlets 14a, 14b, the outlets and the inlets are arranged on the same straight line as viewed from a planar direction, one of the outlets and one of the inlets which are in close position each other are connected through a cross-over duct 10a, the other of the outlets and the other of the inlets which are in far position each other are connected through a cross-over duct 10b, and the cross-over ducts are arranged to be at two stages in the up-down direction.
