    Abstract: A sheet conveyer device to convey a sheet in a conveyer path, including a first roller pair arranged in an intermediate position in the conveyer path, a feeder to feed the sheet toward the first roller pair during a feeding operation, a discharge portion, on which the sheet is discharged, a second roller pair arranged in the conveyer path in a position closer to the discharge portion than the first roller pair, a control unit to control the first and the second roller pairs to rotate synchronously, and a judging system to judge whether a sheet feeding error has occurred in the feeder, is provided. The control unit controls the first and the second roller pairs to rotate synchronously in a second direction during the feeding operation and in a first direction when the judging system judges that the sheet feeding error has occurred during the feeding operation.

    Abstract: A conveying roller is disposed downstream of a feeding roller in a conveying direction and conveys a sheet of recording medium to a printing position along a conveying path. A medium detecting unit is disposed between the feeding roller and the conveying roller along the conveying path and detects the sheet of the recording medium. A printing unit performs printing at the printing position. A target-rotational-amount setting unit sets a target rotational amount for feeding the sheet of the recording medium to the conveying roller, based on a rotational amount of the feeding roller measured from when the feeding roller begins feeding the sheet of the recording medium accommodated in the feeding cassette until the medium detecting unit detects the sheet of the recording medium. A controller controls the feeding roller to continue rotating until the rotational amount of the feeding roller reaches the target rotational amount.

    Abstract: A control device comprising a push rod and a wax valve actuating the push rod in response to the temperature of the cooling water of an engine. The push rod is connected to the throttle valve of the carburetor so that the degree of opening of the throttle valve becomes smaller as the temperature of the cooling water of the engine is increased. The amount of air fed into the fuel passage from the air bleed passage is controlled by the push rod so that the amount of the air is increased as the temperature of the cooling water of the engine is increased. A vacuum-operated, time-delay valve is connected between the air-bleed passage and the atmosphere and increases the amount of air fed into the fuel passage from the air-bleed passage following a brief time delay period after the engine starts.
