  • Patent number: 7504572
Abstract: A sound is output by calculating a change in coordinate data as a vector and generating sound data corresponding to the calculated vector, so that sounds can be freely obtained without being limited by the size of or positions on an input coordinate plane. A sound generating apparatus 10 includes a coordinate input device 12 for inputting coordinate data, a main control device 14, an acoustic device 16, and a display device 18. The main control device 14 includes: a motion calculation unit 20 that calculates a vector between two successive sets of the coordinate data input with a predetermined time interval; a sound data generating unit 22 that generates the sound data based on the calculated vector; a musical instrument data generating unit and displayed-color data generating unit 24 that serves both functions of generating musical instrument data and generating displayed-color data based on the coordinate data; a data transfer and saving unit 26; and a MIDI sound source 28 controlled by the sound data.

  • Publication number: 20080255645
Abstract: A patch for facilitating blood circulation, including a warmer, a powder-containing bag and a base sheet. The warmer includes iron powder for generating heat oxidized by oxygen in the air and an oxidization regulatory agent enclosed in a flat, air permeable bag. The outer shape of the bag is larger than that of the warmer, and contains powder including components contained in bamboo vinegar or wood vinegar. The outer shape of a base sheet is larger than that of the bag, and the base sheet has an air ventilation hole at a central portion. An adhesive layer is formed on the surface of one side of the base sheet. The warmer and the powder-containing bag are sequentially adhered onto the adhesive layer to cover the air ventilation hole.

  • Publication number: 20080223196
Abstract: There is provided a semiconductor device having a music generation function for automatically generating music data from image data inputted without preparing music information in advance, and a mobile electronic device, a mobile telephone device, a spectacle instrument, and a spectacle instrument set using the same. The device includes a miniature camera 11 for continuously imaging an object and inputting image data for each frame; movement section identification means 21 for identifying the portion where an object has moved within each frame from the image data inputted by the miniature camera 11; music generation means 22 for generating music data corresponding to the position identified by the movement section identification means 21; and music output means 23 for outputting music data generated by the music generation means 22.

  • Patent number: 7254414
Abstract: In accordance with a request from a portable telephone 60, a sound data delivering server 20 delivers a trial-listening music data to the portable telephone without charging a fee to a user of the portable telephone, or delivers a regular music data to the portable telephone upon charging a fee to the user. The delivered trial-listening music data is actually reproduced by the portable telephone; however, the number of reproduction times is limited, and the trial-listening music data is erased from a memory (RAM 63) of the portable telephone after the trial-listening music data is reproduced for the predetermined number of reproduction times. Thus, a system is provided in which the user of the portable telephone can obtain the trial-listening music data of an incoming call melody without being charged for the fee, and can actually reproduce the trial-listening music data with the use of the user s portable telephone.

  • Patent number: 6354522
Abstract: In an electrostatic sprayer, a pulsating voltage developed using a battery or a generator as a power supply is stepped up using a step-up transformer. A resultant high-voltage pulse is rectified and applied to an electrostatic electrode. A spray jetted from a spray nozzle is thus electrified. Herein, the step-up transformer is located near the spray nozzle. Owing to this structure, a high voltage produced by the step-up transformer can be applied to the electrostatic electrode with a loss minimized.

  • Publication number: 20020019743
Abstract: A content distribution system includes a distribution server, a creator terminal, and a client terminal. In response to a request from the creator terminal, the distribution server provides an authoring tool to the creator terminal. The creator terminal provides the distribution server with a content item (e.g., an incoming-call melody) created by use of the authoring tool. The distribution server stores the content item. In response to a request from the client terminal, the distribution server supplies the stored content item to the client terminal. At this time, the distribution server charges a fee to a registered user of the client terminal, and kicks a portion of the charged fee back to a registered user of the creator terminal who has provided the content item.
