    Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a first image forming portion including a first photosensitive member, a first charging member, and a first developing member including a first accommodating portion: a second image forming portion including a second photosensitive member, a second charging member, and a second developing member including a second accommodating portion: an exposure portion; an applying portion: a storing portion; and a controller. When in the storing portion, information on toner accommodated in the first accommodating portion is changed from first information to second to information and information on toner accommodated in the second accommodating portion is not changed, the controller carries out control so that a transfer voltage is changed from a first transfer voltage to a second transfer voltage and so that a potential of an image portion formed on the second photosensitive member is changed from a first potential to a second potential.

The carrier device (1) includes: a first retaining portion (11), second retaining portion (12), third retaining portion (13) and fourth retaining portion (14) that hold and carry a plurality of works arranged at even intervals and supply these to a supply pallet (7) at any intervals; and a retaining base portion (20) to which these first to fourth retaining portions are connected. The retaining base portion (20) includes first to fourth sliding portions that cause the first retaining portion (11) to fourth retaining portion (14) to approach each other or separate in the arrangement direction of the works. The first retaining portion (11) to fourth retaining portion (14) respectively include first engaging parts and second engaging parts that disengage with the works independently.

    Abstract: A method of manufacturing a cylindrical body, comprising the step of forming the cylindrical body by bending a plate-like work having first projected finger to fourth projected finger at four corned parts and allowing the end faces thereof to abut on each other, wherein the main surface of the cylindrical body on the side where sags are present is formed in an outer peripheral wall surface and the rear surface thereof on the side where the burrs are present is formed in an inner peripheral wall surface, and a first projected part is formed of the first projected finger and the third projected finger and a second projected part is formed of the second projected finger and the fourth projected finger. After the cylindrical body is held by friction stir welding devices, the probe of a friction stir welding tool is buried from the direction of either of the first projected part and the second projected part, and scanned in the direction of the other of the second projected part and the first projected part.
