  • Publication number: 20050131375
Abstract: A body fluid absorbing component of a pull-on disposable diaper is folded inward in a crotch covering region. Outside opposite side edges of the absorbing component, there are provided a pair of barrier walls extending in a longitudinal direction of the absorbing component. The barrier wall is provided along its zone opposed to an outer surface of the absorbing component, a distal edge of the barrier wall and an intermediate zone defined between the zone and the distal edge with first, second and third elastic members, respectively, each extending in a stretched state in the longitudinal direction of the absorbing component.

  • Publication number: 20050070869
Abstract: Here is disclosed an article formed with a pair of first longitudinal fold guiding lines and a pair of second longitudinal fold guiding lines. A first zone defined between the first fold guiding lines is tucked inwardly of the article along the first fold guiding lines and a second zone defined between the second fold guiding lines is tucked inwardly of the article along the second fold guiding lines. Leg-holes remain opened.

  • Publication number: 20050038404
Abstract: A pull-on disposable diaper has front and rear waist covering regions and a crotch covering region wherein a bodily discharge absorbing component extends over the crotch covering region into the front and rear waist covering regions. In the crotch covering region, the bodily discharge absorbing component is folded inward along first, second and third folding guides in a transverse direction of the absorbing component. A pair of flaps are formed along transversely opposite lateral side edges of the bodily discharge absorbing component. In each of the flaps, a first lateral marginal edge extending along the associated lateral edge is bonded to an outer surface of the bodily discharge absorbing component and a second lateral marginal edge lies on the side of an inner surface of the absorbing component. An elastic member is attached to the flap in a stretched state in a longitudinal direction of the flap.

  • Publication number: 20050010186
Abstract: A pants-type disposable wearing article includes leg-circumferential first elastic members attached to crotch region's lateral margins of an outer sheet and waist-circumferential second elastic members attached to waist regions' upper margins of the outer sheet. The elastic members are joined to the sheet while the sheet and the second elastic members are stretched at given extension ratios, respectively, in a transverse direction and the first elastic members is stretched at a given extension ratio in the leg-circumferential direction so that the sheet and the first elastic members may have substantially the same leg-circumferential dimensions after these sheet and first elastic members have been relaxed and the sheet and the second elastic members may have substantially the same transverse dimensions after these sheet and second elastic members have been relaxed. In addition, the waist regions' upper margins and the crotch region's lateral margins are substantially planar.

  • Publication number: 20050004544
Abstract: A pants-type disposable wearing article includes a liquid-pervious topsheet, a liquid-impervious backsheet, a liquid-absorbent panel interposed between these sheets and a liquid-impervious outer sheet lying on the outer side of the backsheet, and having a waist-hole and leg-holes. This article has a first folding guide formed in left half of the crotch region, a second folding guide formed in right half of the crotch region and third folding guides transversely extending between the first and second folding guides so that first and second regions of the crotch region are folded along the first and second folding guides so as to be tucked toward inner sides of the respective leg-holes and the third region of the crotch region is folded along the third folding guides so as to be tucked toward the waist-hole.

  • Publication number: 20050004548
Abstract: A pull-on disposable article has a liquid-absorbent first panel interposed between a liquid-absorbent sheet 2 and liquid-impervious sheets, a waist-hole and a pair of leg-holes. The leg-holes are surrounding by leg-surrounding flaps extending in a leg-surrounding direction outside transversely opposite side edges of the first panel. A transverse dimension between the transversely opposite side edges is minimized in the vicinity of bottoms of the respective leg-holes. The leg-surrounding flaps are formed with first folding lines extending in the leg-surrounding direction and second folding lines extending in a transverse direction. The leg-surrounding flaps are tucked along the first and second folding lines into the respective leg-holes.

  • Publication number: 20040210204
Abstract: A disposable pants-type wearing article includes a body fluid absorbent assembly. In a crotch region of the wearing article, transversely opposite side edges of the body fluid absorbent assembly are respectively formed with folded portions so that a non-folded portion extending in from of the folded portions may have a relatively small extent and a non-folded portion extending behind the folded portions may have a relatively large extent.

  • Publication number: 20020173764
Abstract: A pants-type disposable wearing article has a holder means and an absorbent pad means. The absorbent pad means has a crotch region extending to a front and rear waist regions of the holder means and has longitudinal front and rear ends attached to the front and the rear waist regions. The absorbent pad means has a liquid absorbent core and is provided with leak-barrier flaps rising from side edges of the core and a ribbon-like suspenders attached to the top edges of the leak-barrier flaps. The extensions of the suspenders from the front and rear ends of the absorbent pad means are connecting the top edges of the leak-barrier flaps with the inner surface of the front and rear waist regions of the holder means.
