  • Patent number: 8525603
Abstract: An oscillating signal generating device includes an oscillating circuit and a control circuit. The oscillating circuit includes: a resonator having a first terminal and a second terminal for generating an oscillating signal, a resistive element having a first terminal coupled to the first terminal of the resonator, and a second terminal coupled to the second terminal of the resonator, and an oscillating start-up circuit having an input terminal coupled to the first terminal of the resonator and an output terminal coupled to the second terminal of the resonator. The control circuit generates a control signal to change the oscillating start-up circuit into a disable mode from an enable mode when the oscillating circuit generates an oscillating output signal under an operation mode, and outputs the oscillating signal generated by the resonator as the oscillating output signal of the oscillating circuit.

  • Publication number: 20120286852
Abstract: A charge-discharge device has a current generating circuit, a charging circuit, a discharging circuit, and a signal processing circuit. The current generating circuit has a first transistor and a second transistor for generating a reference current. The charging circuit has a third transistor, coupled with the first transistor, for providing a charging current to a load according to the reference current. The discharging circuit has a fourth transistor, coupled with the second transistor, for providing a discharging current to the load according to the reference current. The signal processing circuit has a first input end coupled with the first and the second transistors, a second input end for coupling with the load, and an output end coupled with the first and the third transistors. The signal processing circuit amplifies the difference signal between the first end and the second input end to adjust the charging current and/or the discharging current.

  • Publication number: 20120169382
Abstract: A dividing apparatus is provided. The dividing apparatus includes a frequency dividing circuit and a noise reducing circuit. The frequency dividing circuit is arranged to receive a first clock signal and generate a frequency divided signal corresponding to the first clock signal. The noise reducing circuit is coupled to the frequency dividing circuit and arranged to receive a second clock signal and the frequency divided signal, and is utilized for referring to the second clock signal and the frequency divided signal to reduce noise of the frequency divided signal to generate a noise-reduced frequency divided signal. The first and second clock signals may be identical clock signals or different clock signals.
