    Abstract: In one aspect, the present disclosure provides a method of treating, preventing, and/or ameliorating premature ovarian failure (POF) in a subject in need thereof, wherein the subject is a female cancer patient being administered at least one chemotherapeutic drug, the method comprising administering to the subject at least one c-Jun N-terminal Kinase (JNK) inhibitor. In certain embodiments, the JNK inhibitor is SP600125. In another aspect, the present disclosure provides a pharmaceutical composition comprising a JNK inhibitor.
